Really? This again? Scatpacks and SRT's are literally the same when it comes to the guts. Why people vehemently deny scatpacks and SRT's are the same is beyond me. I'm aware of the few options that separate them, but even the newer ones have the Brembo's with "SRT" labeled on them. A lot of people especially in warmer climates don't care for leather seats for a few reasons. At the end of the day, muscle cars are meant for performance and not luxury so I couldn't care less for the "upgraded" options an SRT offers. I could literally go and replace all of my SP logos with SRT logos and no one would be able to tell the difference.

Also a Hellcat is a Major upgrade price wise $25,000 plus more and a Ton of money on Gas. On one of your previous videos you said you were spending about $15k a year on gas alone. So to say ohh just save your money and buy a hellcat is crazy lol a hellcat is a lot more money then a scatpack and like you said you got bored with the scatpack power but you also are getting bored now with the hellcat power.
The Charger Scat Pack Widebody is SRT in my opinion. Drop the 6.2L motor into a Scat Widebody and BOOM you pretty much have a Hellcat. So if any Scat is the SRT it's the Widebody package.
If you're drunk on power, get a Tesla Model 3 Performance. You can get a brand new one for under 50K and it's a Hellcat killer. The $40,000 in your pocket will also make you feel like a financial genius.
The only car I’d buy over a Scatpack is a C6 Z06. That being said, I hope I find one w/ low miles cheaper then a 2018+ Scat because Scats are expensive af rn and imo too heavy. I hate how they get slapped up by SS’s & GT’s all day
I’ve been in SS, GT and Scat Packs. Scat Pack is by far my favorite. Much nicer sound, more spacious interior, and the 6.4 gives you a nice head start on the GT and SS. Plus, it’s just more fun to drive IMO.
@@xMarkie Tbh when I first compared the three I was more partial to Camaros cuz everyone always told me they were the fastest. After trying them out for myself, they were faster in the long run, but the SP’s 6.4L V8 is much more responsive and much more fun to drive than a SS. I’ve become somewhat of a fan of Dodge since then.
Sold the hellcat I really loved that car but I can’t keep worrying about it getting stolen so I bought the Supra The b58 has kept me very happy I like when the homies think they have the W and I surprise the hell out of them when they want to do a dig or rolling 40-50 and they see the Supra tail lights . Yes I’m on a tire and not stock
My main thing is when that supercharger goes out. I don’t plan on getting one for another couple of years anyway. I figure the scat is safer with it being naturally aspirated.
A Dodge engineer told me that 2018 scat packs and up are SRTs. I think Dodge under rates its cars because I get over 500hp out of my 2020 scat. When I'm out on the street I own the road. Had mine over a year and the power of this thing never gets old. And I've found that the hellcats only out perform the scats at top speeds. Take offs and speeds under 120, my scat is neck to neck with any hellcat. I feel no need to upgrade except for bragging rights.
Highest speed limit is 70 where I live....my R/T is plenty. Anything more and it's not about the car, it's about just wanting to be noticed. And I'm not spending 40 thousand more dollars just so somebody will notice me and I'll feel special.
$46k is super expensive compared to their rivals like the SS and 5.0...I had a loaded 5.0 for $40k otd and both of those make roughly the same HP. Not to mention there is so much more room to do things to the other two platforms unlike the charger...I tried building a Scat Pack or just even looking at dealerships but everything is sooooo overpriced it's sad. Maybe one day I'll be able to get my expensive ass dream car lol
As an owner of a Challenger widebody Scat Pack and a Challenger narrow body Hellcat, Scat Packs are a bad purchase. They suck at modding as they come pretty much power/tranny maxed from the factory. You will go broke trying to get them to Hellcat base wheel horsepower numbers. Get a Hellcat.
Lol where was this video at before I bought my scat. On a serious note he is not lying about getting used to the power easily and you will start to think about why you never got the hellcat instead.
Why would anyone care to change the badge to SRT when an R/T Scat Pack is way better, has way more options, more tech and can be faster than any SRT392 or SRT8 ever was. I think people would take a wide body or 1320 with Drag Mode and the Demon trans-brake over a retired SRT392 or SRT8 any day.
I have a question. Should I buy a scat newer or not for my first car that I buy? I live rent free and have no other things to pay for and I make roughly 55k a year
I just followed you on the gram bro thanks for the info very helpful I'm going to be in the market in a month or two I see the prices are slowly dropping

You guys are getting dangerous close to it not being worth it. Have you seen they are selling scats with cloth seats for 50k? That’s insanity and I can’t wait to see the resale value on these cars in 5 years. The math just don’t add up when u can get a used gt500 that was treated way better for the same price.
If it doesn’t have SRT seats and SRT steering wheel its not an SRT392😂 the scat is fire!! Same car, lighter w same engine and cheaper. Mfs never wanna enjoy what they got
So......after watching your video "A ScatPack is not a Hellcat", Yup......no shit. My 2012 GT500 that made 700RWHP could eat a stock Hellcat, big deal..........could only use that power almost never without driving like a total jacka$$. My 2022 Scatpack Widebody Challenger is absolutely perfect for 99% of driving......love the car.
Correction on the srt battle let’s go back to pre hellcat days the challenger when it first dropped had the 392 but they called it the srt and then they switched to using 392 srt after the hellcat came out then they finally stoped using the srt and just went with either the 392’package which is the original srt or the scat options which is a Strip down 392 (srt) package that’s the history a scat is a strip down srt in options like leather etc etc and the 392 is the original srt and the hellcat is the upgraded srt hellcat that’s the history on SRT
A smarter way of getting a car faster than a Hellcat is to buy a Scat Pack and put a supercharger on it. The Hellcat is only a 6.2 L as the Scat Pack is a 6.4 L which of the bigger motor and it's naturally aspirated. So if you take a supercharger off of a Hellcat a Scat Pack will beat it if you put a supercharger on a Scat Pack it will beat a hellcat period. At this point people are buying a $100k plus car for a cat logo. Might as well get a scat pack for $75-80k and put another $4k in it and it will still be cheaper and WAY faster than a hellcat. Stop buying cars for badges and do it right. Hellcats ain't nothing.
I think scat packs are great daily drivers, and they are plenty fast for a daily. But for all you people who try to make them race cars please remember they weigh 4500 pounds

(My personal experience) all this small to medium range cost adds up big time at the end of the year for the vehicle. I’ve seen people get this cars and get rid of them 6-8 months down the road.
This is with every car 🥴
@@darrend1068 No it ain’t, you must not own a v8 of this caliber. Can get pretty pricey really quickly with this types of cars.

Not all of us buy cars with a loan. If you follow Dave Ramsey’s financial advice, you pay cash for cars because borrowing is stupid. I paid cash for my Scat and it had 3800 miles on it.
@@daisychain2428 If you know anything about investments and real estate, your would know passive income pays for liability. Stopped following Dave Ramsey, I follow Grant Cardone. Scatpacks are cool I have one since 2018 but I’m tired of it I’m looking for a 10 speed ZL1 or a red eye
Going to go look at a 2021 charger scat Saturday. Can’t wait
I wanna know can y’all go out side without worrying about it get stolen
I personally prefer the N/A 392 over the 6.2 Supercharged. I just wouldnt get a scat because I need SRT on my seat . Just being honest lol. Thats why the Jeep SRT is perfect for me. Dont get it twisted wb scats go dumb hard though.
We think exactly alike
Really?
@@marqj301 It still says rt on the window sticker and srt powered. If it was an srt it would have it on steering wheel , seats etc. I’m not knocking it bro . But dodge needs to fix that
@@marqj301 bro that’s on you if you don’t care, just because you don’t care doesn’t make it one, this argument is dumb as hell, if you don’t care about the luxury why are y’all so desperate to label it a srt then? When you can go to dodge and they’ll clearly tell you that it isn’t..according to your logic you can tell people you have a iPhone 13 when you have the 12 just because they they do the same thing… I can go on with scenarios but I’m dumbing it down anymore, it’s called trims for a reason
@@Shiftwyd yooo bro this was the realest answer ever . Idk how people are arguing what a car is from the manufacturer. Nigas really making trims up in there head cause they feel it should be something else. Like wtf are u even saying
175mph-182mph is plenty fast enough 4 me…That 392 Hemi is not a joke…💯💯
Will dodge make the hellcats in 2023 I heard that they will end it October 2023
Is the jailbreak limited production?
I had mine for 3 years now I’m really thinking about getting something else
I upgraded to my hellcat for the same reason I got use to the power in my scat
When I turn off my 2021 ScatPack First thing I see is Srt on the screen as it turns off. I don't understand how this is still a debate? Also a Hellcat is a Major upgrade price wise $25,000 plus more and a Ton of money on Gas. On one of your previous videos you said you were spending about $15k a year on gas alone. So to say ohh just save your money and buy a hellcat is crazy lol a hellcat is a lot more money then a scatpack and like you said you got bored with the scatpack power but you also are getting bored now with the hellcat power.
Can you please do an update video about your case? Any news from Rush? We love u guys, hope things are turning put okay.
Bang for your buck has always made me laugh…..Don’t cut yourself short, YOLO 💯🔥💨
Dumbass foos like you always stay broke
The Charger Scat Pack Widebody is SRT in my opinion. Drop the 6.2L motor into a Scat Widebody and BOOM you pretty much have a Hellcat. So if any Scat is the SRT it's the Widebody package.
I just purchased a home so can't afford either rn but I realistically just want the scat and not the hellcat
Any word on Rush? Dude dropped that video driving that vette and has been missing ever since :( Hope he's ok brotha!!
If you're drunk on power, get a Tesla Model 3 Performance. You can get a brand new one for under 50K and it's a Hellcat killer. The $40,000 in your pocket will also make you feel like a financial genius.
Tesla 😂
I got my 2014 challenger srt8 back in 2017 for 27k with 4k miles on it from Florida. I couldn't pass up that sweet deal...
The only car I’d buy over a Scatpack is a C6 Z06. That being said, I hope I find one w/ low miles cheaper then a 2018+ Scat because Scats are expensive af rn and imo too heavy. I hate how they get slapped up by SS’s & GT’s all day
My 2021 1320 with like 3700 miles on it is for sale for $46000 at Bill Luke San Tan in Gilbert AZ

I’ve been in SS, GT and Scat Packs. Scat Pack is by far my favorite. Much nicer sound, more spacious interior, and the 6.4 gives you a nice head start on the GT and SS. Plus, it’s just more fun to drive IMO.
@@EpicCoolGuy21 Agreed. I too have rode in all 3 and prefer the Scatpack. But I am a huge Mopar guy though lol
He’s right I’m feeling the same right. The scat feels slow compared to other vehicles. It feels slow
Sold the hellcat I really loved that car but I can’t keep worrying about it getting stolen so I bought the Supra
The b58 has kept me very happy I like when the homies think they have the W and I surprise the hell out of them when they want to do a dig or rolling 40-50 and they see the Supra tail lights . Yes I’m on a tire and not stock
My main thing is when that supercharger goes out. I don’t plan on getting one for another couple of years anyway. I figure the scat is safer with it being naturally aspirated.
Bro why did you delete all your racing video's?
And why did you leave youtube?
A Dodge engineer told me that 2018 scat packs and up are SRTs. I think Dodge under rates its cars because I get over 500hp out of my 2020 scat. When I'm out on the street I own the road. Had mine over a year and the power of this thing never gets old. And I've found that the hellcats only out perform the scats at top speeds. Take offs and speeds under 120, my scat is neck to neck with any hellcat. I feel no need to upgrade except for bragging rights.
I’m a vette guy but I’m getting the scat cuz it comes in manual and is more practical imo 🤷♂️ and I can mod it how I want, hellcat is just overhyped
Scat got 4 doors.
People who say a scat not a srt dumb asf😂😂😂the make a SRT 392 which is THE SAME CAR as a scat and wen u pop the hood it say POWERED BY SRT🤣Wtf
the logic of some people...I need an srt logo..like talk about needing validation...they proly have big fake balls hanging from there truck as well
@@jonathanclarke708 🤣🤣🤣exactly
As an owner of a Challenger widebody Scat Pack and a Challenger narrow body Hellcat, Scat Packs are a bad purchase. They suck at modding as they come pretty much power/tranny maxed from the factory. You will go broke trying to get them to Hellcat base wheel horsepower numbers. Get a Hellcat.
I get that. But its not 707 hp usable horsepower. Step on the gas, smoke the tires even at a 20 MPH roll. Buddy has a C7 ZR1 but not usable HP.
Lol where was this video at before I bought my scat. On a serious note he is not lying about getting used to the power easily and you will start to think about why you never got the hellcat instead.
um they make a SRT 392… and the engine on a scat pack literally says “powered by SRT” right on it 😂
I hate stripes and decals but you have probably the nicest spec I've seen the white on black looks so clean
The only option for a srt 392 is to get a hellcat sp have option srt has all the option already fax sp are a base model rt
The old 392 had srt badges on some of them they was srt8 all it was the scat motor then
Someone’s always faster. A guy that owns a SS can say the same thing and say to get a ZL1.
There's nothing wrong with making your car look better or the way you want it to look. Just don't make it look schitty.
I have a question. Should I buy a scat newer or not for my first car that I buy? I live rent free and have no other things to pay for and I make roughly 55k a year
Do you get lots of road noise in the freeway like air comes in a bit through the doors or exhaust Drone?
Sounds like, as much as you drive them, value isn't much of a concern. Enjoy your rod .
I just followed you on the gram bro thanks for the info very helpful I'm going to be in the market in a month or two I see the prices are slowly dropping
I rarely see hellcats where im at but i know they're out there. Got a 18' scat pack thats pushing a little over 500hp with the mods,, but still not a hellkitty lol. If i get the chance to upgrade i definitely will, no doubt.
The guys at the dealership explain the same thing you just explained in your video if you can by the Hellcat do I.T don’t settle for the scat pack !!!!👍🏿👍🏿
Of course they will say that they want more money.

Did you get ya car impounded again 😂🤔
ive had my scat for 2 years. and yes i love it so much, but i never wanted a scat. I always wanted a hellcat and I was impatient. Wait and get a hellcat if youre in the market.
Had a 1320 Scat, traded it in for a Hellcat and it was definitely worth it. The Scat was too slow.
Where’s Rush?
The only scat ima get is a charger cuz if I go for a coupe I would just get a ss 💯🤣🤣🤣
Well to me if you got a SRT it old I got a scat n proud of it it the best thing that happen to me I love it more than anything my wife are kids better not touch it I think about it day n night every where in LA it turns heads the suede n leathers is the best I’m in Hollywood 5 nights a week all red scat
You guys are getting dangerous close to it not being worth it. Have you seen they are selling scats with cloth seats for 50k? That’s insanity and I can’t wait to see the resale value on these cars in 5 years. The math just don’t add up when u can get a used gt500 that was treated way better for the same price.
I ordered one a month ago I added so much to it w the packages it’s $68,000
If it doesn’t have SRT seats and SRT steering wheel its not an SRT392😂 the scat is fire!! Same car, lighter w same engine and cheaper. Mfs never wanna enjoy what they got

So......after watching your video "A ScatPack is not a Hellcat", Yup......no shit. My 2022 Scatpack Widebody Challenger is absolutely perfect for 99% of driving......love the car.
I got a cdl I just want my scat 🦈🖤
Correction on the srt battle let’s go back to pre hellcat days the challenger when it first dropped had the 392 but they called it the srt and then they switched to using 392 srt after the hellcat came out then they finally stoped using the srt and just went with either the 392’package which is the original srt or the scat options which is a Strip down 392 (srt) package that’s the history a scat is a strip down srt in options like leather etc etc and the 392 is the original srt and the hellcat is the upgraded srt hellcat that’s the history on SRT
Informative video but maybe slow down a bit, had to but the speed at .75x to keep up 😂
Srt is street racing technology soooo
