The main drawback of civil services is that it's a profession directly linked to politicians. More over the salary is very low compared to doctors etc (specialist Doctors salary.... 1 crore per month) Next comes the word POWER... which is only a synonym of the word HEAD ACHE...... So I advised my relatives to opt technical Jobs.

Why everyone is comparing everything with IAS.
The fact that these comparisons are being made proves the power of Civil Services.

I downloaded this special video and put on my earphones and went for a long walk, at the end of my walk I am more informed and experienced than I was at start of my walk. Your special interviews are full of profundity. You should also conduct one-on-one sessions where people who are in midst of making decisions regarding their career could take your 2 cents on their problems.

Better watch, the deep and dark reality of these overly glorified IAS jobs on "Clarity for youth".
They have provided quite extensive approach to this topic and in multiple videos.
