This music that you do captures the dark heart and soul of the music and to my ear sounds much better than any of the originals. This is an excellent thing that you've done. I've been listening to the actual music of thrash since it began in the 1980s to get to the music itself -- so I appreciate your effort. If you could do 80s thrash it would be wonderful. Some of those albums had great music embedded in them.

Hi there! I just stumbled upon your channel while searching for some tips on writing and recording synth/orchestral compositions, and subscribed a minute into this video. I’m planning on buying an M-Audio Keystation 49 (MK3) and use plugins to write and record. The issue i have is where to start? I have been playing guitar for 17 years, and although I’ve been a huge fan of orchestral/symphonic/ambient stuff, i never really tried it myself until now. I always figured I’d find someone for the job, but have since came to the realisation that in my neck of the woods they practically have unicorn status. I’m a huge black metal fan and write blackened death/melodic black stuff myself. I just miss that symphonic/orchestral element. I’m really into bands like Dark Fortress, Mephorash, Dark Funeral, Finntroll, Worm Witch, Shylmagoghnar and Watain. I’m also a huge fan of industrial metal like Pain, Neurotech, Hanzel Und Gretyl, Mick Gordon, 3 Teeth and Eisbrecher. Keep up the good work!🤘🏻

I say this with the utmost respect, but you need to get a handle on your peddling! You play so beautifully now compared to vids from 2016, but you are a classic overpeddler (so was I hahaha). As a pianist I can hear the muddy notes for what it is immediately. The sections that specifically don't use peddle are amazing, but when you do use the sustain peddle it sounds like it's being held on for multiple measures at a time. You have to distinctly make a "refresh" basically every cord switch (assuming you don't really use sheet music, so this would be how to think of it). Listen to the notes as a whole, if it starts to sound muddy-as in you can't very clearly hear the melody+bass being played on this beat, or measure, or w.e (depends on the chords)-then that is because of poor peddle use. People have a very common "overuse" of peddle, but honestly *less is more*. To take it even a step further, if you can play sections without hearing disconnections then it may not need peddle at all, even if it's meant to be a connected (phrase or slur being the technical term). It may sound awkward when first learning a piece because you can't hit the notes fast/well enough for it to work, but when you do then it's way better. Chopin preludes op. 28 are amazing for this No. 3: NO peddle. It'll sound awkward, when you get the speed it makes sense. No. 4: Peddle is refreshed basically **every single CHORD** that is played on the left hand, which is very counterintuitive for an overpeddler (some parts do have no peddle as well) Then these step up the peddle amounts: No. 8: Peddle refresh every **beat** (unlike 4 which was every chord) No. 24: True Peddling song. Heavy peddle used across measures, this one you really need to just read the peddling notation on the sheet music You can find all these for free very easily on IMSLP. If it doesn't have Ped.* notation don't download. Just some examples. Please don't get me wrong, I LOVE your playing. That's why I'm spending the time to suggest this to improve it even more!
