I had a view of venus yesterday and it was a bit weird because it wasn't a view during the dusk but it was mid- day The sun was covered by clouds and i don't know how but venus shined through at 12 pm I was never expecting that and when the sun was 5-7 degrees above the horizon i adjusted my eyes by staring at the sun (starting at the sun when it's not that high up isn't risky because of atmosphere blocking the light,) after adjusting my eyes i had a view of sky and I looked about 45° over the horizon and Venus was like a while dot in sky Also don't you think that the summer sky lasted soo long It lasted from, march April to early December But this winter sky is already 40% of its way to setting with the sun I still remember in October morning i saw Orion at meridian and nowadays it's at meridian at just 8pm It's going too fast compared to summer constellations
I always say never stare at the Sun without eye protection, the clouds can pass, it's too much of a risk for me to endorse. It is pretty wild, but Venus is absolutely visible during the day sometoems, you can get a good enough view of Jupiter through a telescope during the day as well, as long as you are careful enough. We are actually moving a little bit faster, Northern Hemisphere winter is close to Earth's aphelion, so we are closer to the Sun and moving that little bit faster, and that is absolutely a factor when it comes to the time we see the constellations.
