Thank you for making this video. I remember 2007 fondly. This was the start of the golden era for me. This was right before the clone wars, and it had a different feel for sure. The Lego catalogs were amazing, I spent so much time just looking at all of the sets, waiting for Christmas to roll around. Great memories.
2007 is probably my MOST FAVORITE year for Star Wars LEGO. The nostalgia most certainly hits very hard as this was the first year I had some serious birthday money to stock up on LEGO. That N1 Naboo Starfighter will always be legendary 😎
I am genuinely so happy for kids growing up in this era of Lego Star Wars. I got into it at the very end of 2014 and the end of a golden age. Most of my childhood was unfortunately supplemented by sequels sets and when th3 occasional cool wave like rogue one would come along it would be epic. I think 2020 Lego turned a new leaf and the sets coming out are some of the best ever made. I truly think with all the clone packs, clone helmets, ucs gunship and venator, atte and gunship, and even a bunch of epic never made things like Yavin will really make this a peak period. Very excited for the future and absolutely adore these past sets
This video is amazing. I think your thumbnail betrayed how good this video was, as it looked juniorised, with no pacing. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
Man this brought back a lot of memories for me. Christmas 2014 was one I could really remember when I was a kid. I got the imperial star destroyer and the B wing that year. Opening Lego on Christmas is a really great time. Happy holidays to you Firebird!
Such a great video! The nostalgia is intense! Such a great variety too. That motorized atat is crazy, hope they do that again in the future. My favorites are probably the battlepacks, so simple yet impressive. I think we will look back on these past years reminiscing about all the different legions we got and maybe the sets from the shows like mando and Ahsoka.
I genuinely can’t thank you enough for this, the childhood nostalgia and joy this brought is insane. Star Wars in general meant, and means a lot to me and glad to see it meant a lot to others too. ❤
When you told me about this video, I was excited about it, and the results here did not disappoint! Great job Caleb and I wish you the best of luck with this video's success 😊. As for lego nostalgia, I always look fondly back on the playing Star Wars: The Complete Saga on the Wii. Visiting my grandparents and playing it with my cousins was always a joy, no matter how many times I had to hear Yoda's death sound 😂
I just discovered your channel and am obsessed. I've recently been rebuilding a ton of sets, many from this era. I don't know why I ever stopped playing. Thanks for the inspiration! Going to amp up my stormtrooper mech today!
That intro, the music, the VHS grainy footage, the narration! Amazing! Wraps his own gifts, still has the spark in the eyes ahahaha! Fantastic video mate!
I love the young footage of two great builders there and then you’re vintage looking video opening the wrapped gifts was a nice touch. Definitely some awesome sets back in 2007 and I think this 2023 wave is one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. Cheers to a great year watching your content and here’s to 2024 🎉 🥂
You really captured the warm cosy feeling of nostalgia. A time which all who grew up in yearn for again. A time which we will never get back. But the memories will stay with us forever
@FireBird, thank you for this video. I for sure shed a few tears in your end message. Growing up my dad and I built all these sets together and I still have them tucked away. I lost my dad last year and seeing this video just reminded me of the memories with him on our kitchen breakfast bar together building and playing all the games in the living room. Just thank you for this really from the bottom of my heart thank you.
Sorry for your loss... I am glad you were able to be reminded of some good times through this video. Thanks for sharing this - made this video worth making!
awesome idea for the video.. somethin about how the camera quality just takes you back. really makes you appreciate how we all live different lives but are so similar and share so many memories alike to each other just around legos
I LOVE this video idea. The nostalgia from these sets is pouring out of this recording and I love how original and unique this is. Your videos have been amazing and I really enjoy your channel. Keep it up man!
Thank you so much, like simply. To the core this video is about holding on to those fond moments and memories we all remember so dearly that Lego Star Wars has brought to millions of people. But also to look at what’s ahead, not only about Lego Star Wars but on life. Simply thank you for this video. God bless you.
2007-2008 was like the peak of LEGO Star Wars to me. They kept making cool sets every time. I remember first playing the Original Trilogy the summer of 2008. Got it for Christmas in 2008. I had the 2008 Imperial Dropship when I was in the 5th Grade in early 2011. I loved the Shadow trooper it came with. And I wanted the 2007 Imperial Landing Craft too. I though it was so underrated.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, it was fun playing the game with her. Probably the part I enjoyed the most during the making of this video. Thanks again for providing that awesome footage for the intro. Great stuff!
This video nearly made me cry seeing so many sets from when I was a kid and the ne that 3nearly broke me was General Grievous star fighter because That was a set I saved up for and got and it was the hardest thing I ever did as a kid because saving that much money was almost impossible when you're a kid with a impulse to get other things that catch your attention.
This video was 🤌 Thanks for bringing us back to the good ole days. *happy sigh* I already think fondly of the time we used to get CMF bags instead of boxes. Haha
Great video, you captured the feeling of nostalgia perfectly and your inclusion of Lego Star Wars the video game was on point for the era. It was the first console game I ever owned and it definitely is a staple of the era. Keep up the good work man!
This was a great idea for a video. I've never seen anything like it. It definitely makes me remember looking through the 2019 LEGO STAR WARS visual dictionary and wanting every single set.
Dude, this was so fun to watch. Growing up, I had buckets of legos, but no real sets. You have no idea what monstrosities I attempted to build with those things ... this channel is bonkers! Keep it up!
never got any of the 2007 sets, but i always looked at them in my catalog and that's what makes me look back so fondly in old lego sets, that's why this 2023 was for me the year of power miners, cuz i proposed myself to hunt all of the first wave sets during this year, and guess what, now i have all of them with my og clone wars sets, that were released during the same time period
The 2010s had the BEST Lego sets I LOVE the Bionicles from 2001 i recently got my hands on a tahu bionicle its so cool and the Lego AAT with Yoda was dope love the stuff man thanks for reading my last comment on your community post!
This is an interesting video to me. I played with Legos mainly in the 1980s (looked up my favorite Lego set as a kid and it was 6886 Galactic Peace Keeper). It would have been cool to have all these themed sets, but I was an adult by the time the first Star Wars themed Lego sets were released.
Great video, only been watching for half a year but I think this was one of your best. Really loved seeing the whole wave and the Christmas feel was great too! Keep up the great work
the start of the video is literary a schedule for me kind of like before Christmas i see the sets i love or like the sets i go to the store and see the sets keep looking at the sets and then on Christmas day when i get a set my brain goes wild and i get strait into building. :) Merry Christmas!
This...the editing. The setup. The love and care....I'm actually crying rn.
Happy to hear you liked the video!
This video is hitting straight in the feels. Such a unique idea to go back and just an old style camera to really push it to the next level
Thanks man! Glad you liked it :)

N-1 is definitely in my top 3 favorite sets I built for this video!
You captured the nostalgia so perfectly! From the old video camera, to the magazine flip throughs, and LEGO Star Wars gameplay. Fantastic job man! 🔥
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it.
makes me miss my 2008-2010 christmas's getting the clone wars sets was something ill never forget man
Good times!!
My parents used to just not put my Lego gifts under the tree because I could shake them and there was the classic, Lego noise
The old Lego box art is way to nostalgic
Nothing beats Classic LEGO. A time when life around us (For some) was horrible, but Lego was in its Prime.

2007 was my first LEGO Star Wars Christmas. Playing The Complete Saga on my DS was pure bliss 🥲

Man, just going to the mall and visiting the LEGO Store as a kid, even though I couldn’t afford anything, looking at the shelves was like heaven.
I can definitely relate!

I remember getting General Grievous’s Starfighter back in 2008… good times…

Nostalgia overload
