It's a bit of relief to see everything growing, but unfortunately, drought is still continuing, and temperatures are unpredictable 😢 But everything is growing well so far 😊 ❤️
Thank you!It originates in Mediterranean bit here in South nobody knows about it. It's very strange. But we are sure our clients will love it! ❤️ They didn't know about Cavolo Nero which is so famous in Tuscany
I truly admire all your hard work, you are both truly amazing. Your garden looks so beautiful. I hope Autumn and Winter are kinder to you than Summer as been.
You have a large holding for two people! I loved the tour. A lot of work, a lot of love. And! Great plans for the chicken run. Cherish the olive trees. TY. 🥰
@@SomethingLikeThis1 Sadly, our temps are still very warm here in Phoenix. Today, it will be 41 celsius.. Maybe next week we will start to cool off :) ..
Congragulations dear couple. I liked the garden, I liked the thing that you do, I liked the beautiful scenery of the house. I like Sicily and I will move there in a few years, hope to meet you then.
Your garden is fantastic and looks incredibly healthy thanks to the hard work you both put in! Mimosa is I agree both beautiful and so fragrant but it self seeds very easily so pull the seedlings out unless of course you want them!. Wishing you continued success in whatever you do.
I like your explanation, sound very "English". Super, you learned all that English. In the South of Italy, there is a VLOG with a couple, they suffer from drought. Have you thought about Parma Culture. Are you thinking about plants which are good "water savers"?
Agree that the olives are ready to harvest! I believe that is called Bermuda grass in English, plenty of it up here in Umbria as well. I also considered Ouessant sheep and have not completely given up on the idea but we have a lot of predators and right now I'm not set up to keep the safe. Hope you can make it work!
I love what you guys are doing. I live in United States. I am in the process of looking into possibly moving to Italy. My husbands grandfather lived in Sardinia. I am waiting to see if we could use his citizenship. I love that you make your money gardening. Are you able to discuss the financial side. The cost to move there, the planting costs, the income possibilities? Thanks for sharing your journey.
Bravo! Hello from the Sonoran desert, in southern Arizona. I’m a second generation Lithuanian, it would be cool to hear you speaking Lithuanian and Italian. Best Wishes for a successful season.
Love the story .... However, the pigeons can go eat somewhere else because if you allow/encourage them to eat at your farm they will forever come back.
Hello guys, first of all thank you for a great video, very informative. I'm sure it will bring you many new clients, you have got so much passion and love for the plants! But I have a question:how do you fertilize your plants? is the compost that you produce enough?
Thank you for watching our videos ❤️ We are happy that people can see our passion for what we do. We have stables close to us. And we get composted manure from them. Every time before planting something new, we keep topping up our beds with it, and everything is growing without any additional fertilisers.
We would like to one day. We have somebody in the area who does teaching as well. And we need to plant more trees first so they have where to get all that beautiful honey.
Hi! When I get back to Sicily Nov 24 I am going to want to start cooking with a lot of veggies. Do you come to the Monday market in balestrate? You have so many things I have no idea how to cook. I’m so interested. I love kale!
We are looking forward to meeting both of you when you are back. Enjoy your time with a grandbaby. It took me time to get used to new vegetables, too 😃 We do home deliveries only, usually on Thursday.
@@SomethingLikeThis1 I live just outside Vancouver and for several years we can no longer find these in the grocery stores, for some reason they are no longer importing them. Such as shame as they are one of my favourites and so healthy for you.
I am curious how you prepare the rhubarb chard in Sicilian recipes. We just saute in olive oil and white balsamic vinegar - I need more recipes! I'm surprised chard is so popular in your country so maybe you know better ways to prepare it. Your gardens are thriving and expanding!
Well, many people just boil it and then add olive oil. Others sauté in olive oil, garlic, and sardines ( I love adding capers). Some cook it with tomato sauce. Then it's nice with lentils. My personal favourite is to sauté garlic with some pancetta or other smoked meats that you have available (can add carrots and celery too), then add water and boil lentils (can add some tomato sauce) and then add Swiss chard towards the end. You could do similar recipes with chickpeas or other legumes, too. I recently saw some recipes that added sautéed chard in a burger.
@@SomethingLikeThis1 Thanks for all those ideas! We have enjoyed the chard with chickpeas, garlic, smoked paprika. Totally forgot about that. Please share more Sicilian recipes with us!
You two are
CHAMPIONS ! I Applaude yòu.

You have put in so much work and it has surely paid off with your amazing growth and produce. Those smiles on your faces show your appreciation ❤

Kale is another form of Cavolo Nero and very Italian I think..

Thanks for the very nice garden tour: VERY NICE TO SEE SMILES ON YOUR FACES AGAIN, WONDERFUL COUPLE.

Thank you for the tour of your farm. I have to say, well done, it's brilliant 👏 😊 ❤
Don't forget chicken housing can be mobile so you can move them around to poop on selected areas you want to improve...
Hello, I like the way you are talking, as if you were one person
I would need a spreadsheet just to keep track of every plant and row and tree... What a great plot of land you have!
Thank you 😃 It's easy to remember when you are all day there 😆
A big project, looking good.
Quite interesting to tour your garden.
Thank you ❤️ Happy that you enjoyed it! 😉

It seems to be a good Ukrainian-Italian co-ooperation

Hi again. Have you looked into raising honey bees? It can be done ethically and with kindness to the bees. Honey is always in demand

How many hectares do you have under cultivation? Do you grow any putarella or agretti ?
Are you servicing the local markets, or the whole of Italy?
We are selling to our local towns and do home delivery only.
Whats the lining of the raised beds ? The stone like blocks on the sides , what are they made of ?
I heard thats made of tuf , but what is it?
@aleksandraola5250 Tuff is a naturally formed rock from vulcanic ash.
Was that a ficcadindia I saw in the background toward the end of the video?
Yes 😉

mustard leave - looks like asia salad
It's called red frill mustard. I wouldn't be surprised if it originates in Asia
