Looks like you had a fabulous time, despite the delayed start. You show such enthusiasm for VV we might just be tempted to try one ourselves, although I'm not sure we could do the pajama party the justice it deserves, well done Linzi, you carried it off with panache, but how come we don't get to see Marks boudoir attire?
Okay, odd question: I've seen your videos about the Dock, and I'm a...finicky eater. Are you able to get the nibbles w/o the sauces - or maybe on the side? Also, I just watched your live-stream. Sounds like you had a ribbon of a time. I can't wait for the rest of the episodes! Thank you for posting!
Not an odd question at all. They will absolutely cater to you at the dock (or anywhere else). If you don't want sauce on, no problem at all. Nice use of the Ribbon (you are in the draw) and the upcoming episodes get even more fun/wild!
Brilliant video. Think I will be swerving the pyjama party. Not my thing. Would you recommend the Wake? For sailaway drinks? We got leathered on our last 2 cruises at sailaway in the sunset bars on two celebrity ships. Once we find our bar of choice we don't usually leave until we need to sleep.
It's an easy one to swerve, as it is just in the Manor (if weather is not great), but you'd probably enjoy it more if it's outside at the rear bar (upper decks). Different thing altogether. The Dock bar, which is outside at the back of the ship (above the Wake Restaurant) is the best place for enjoying drinks at sailaway, we love it, although if the weather is not great, then we'd avoid it, and just either go to the inside dock bar, or On the Rocks (behind the lower part of the Roundabout).
@@SuiteNatured Well we pick up the ship in athens 29th June. So will be more than cheesed off if weather isnt great. Dock bar sounds great. That is already where we are going. I trust there is a marvellous selection of cocktails to destroy?
@@SuiteNatured Think I mentioned this on one of your previous videos, but having a late afternoon on the cocktails, seems a shame to stop that to go and get changed again just to go back out again. This is probably just me, but when I am out, I'm out. The clothes I am in doesnt come into it. 11 nights is too short a cruise to spend some valuable time getting re-dressed. I am prepared to change out of shorts into jeans once a day.
Wow - most of my ships recently are taking circa 15 minutes to go from car to ship - sorry you had quite the opposite experience here 🤦🏻♂️ I found VV from Portsmouth to be pretty good, but it’s nowhere near as slick as Southampton!
It was just one of those days Fraser, first cruise back in the UK for Virgin for a while, and with the long delay getting in, they just were not prepared for it, or the large number of passengers that day.
Yes, this was our forth sailing on Virgin. It was an unofficial group cruise, our first official one is next September on Independence of the Seas; but we did have about 40 people join us on this unofficial one. We don't think it is possible for a Virgin cruise to be uneventful, whether you are alone, with a partner or a group of friends.
Quite seriously if you were not part of your bloggers fraternity would ordinary cruise passengers have such fun? Also i drink an awful lot but alcohol seems to be the theme on a virgin cruise. If you were a non drinker i suspect this cruise would be a non runner.?
We definitely think they would Rex. It is the first time we have been on Virgin Voyages cruise with other vloggers (some of who don't drink interestingly) and we had just as much fun on each of our other virgin cruises. The other passengers who were with us, were not vloggers either, and obviously the vast majority of the ship weren't and seemed to be having just as much fun, if not more, than we had. It is a good question about drinking though, and you are right, drinking is featured heavily onboard, from the Bar Tab, to onboard activities such as the Grog Walk, Shot For Shot, Loterria and many more. We did have people with us who didn't drink much or at all, and still ended up in the pool on scarlet night, and had an amazing time, and the bit that a lot of people forget about Virgin is the health side. Seriously. It is probably the best equipped for health conscious, from food to the included work out classes and gyms, of any cruise line we've been on to date. They even have a running club.
YESSSS!!! You two are the best! Cheers
Aww, thank you so much❤️
Great vlog! So much of the PJ party is a blur so great to see everyone having a great time.
Cheers guys, we are impressed we managed to record any of it to be absolutely honest, and that it wasn't upside down!
Great vlog. Great to meet you and all the gang and partake in the fun. Thanks also for putting on the meet up at Spinnaker. ‘Til next time 😃🛳👍
The PJ party really was good fun! Lizzy was delighted that she’d got her fan 🪭 with her as it was too hot in the manor!
4 min into the video and already soar my coffee out twice!!
Hopefully we didn't cause you to stain anything😂
I saw that ship coming in that morning ftom the tower, we were having coffee up there
We then went past it on the harbour tour
What a small world!
You guys have the best time! Makes anyone and everyone want to cruise! :)
Thank you so much Jacqueline❤️
Really enjoyed the vlog , looking forward to the next one 👍🏻
Thank you Peter, the next two are even wilder🤣
Linzi walking down the stairwell of shame. Too funny 😂
It will now be forever know as the stairwell of shame Steve🤣
I shouldn't pick on Linzi like that. She was just having some fun. I'm jealous. Cheers
Awesome!!! Such fun😂
Thank you Tony, it really was a fun cruise, hope. you enjoy the next few episodes too.
The two of you are so much fun! I want to go on a cruise with you!
Thank you Gina, you'd be very welcome to cruise with us😀
We leave out of Portsmouth on the 14 can't wait, thank you for the preview!
You are very welcome, and you are going to have an amazing time on her.
Looks like such a fun time!! Cannot wait to see the rest of it!! 😍
Such good memories- absolutely one of our favourite cruises so far 😂
Totally agree, it is right up there as one of our favourites too.
Thanks for the mention ! Never so heavily featured on TH-cam 😅 It was a blast!
It looked like you all had a blast, and maybe a headache or two 😅
Don't think I could handle watching myself on video after a heavy night!😂
It looks like you had a very good time! I like the clutch bag
Does Bear wearing a ribbon count
I love your dresses
Thank you so much Susan❤️

You guys have previously sailed Virgin right? I assume this was a group cruise? I can't ever imagine a Virgin Cruise being uneventful 😂

Question from an American: Are all British "bank holidays" this epic?! 🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺😆🤩
No not at all, some are even more so...🤣

When Linzi showed her PJ's in the cabin, was that a popcorn clutch that I saw? If so, can I ask where you would find such a unique bag?👝
It was from Shein Nicole (they have a lot of fancy looking bags), the mix tape one, you will see in an upcoming video was from there too.
@@SuiteNatured I have ordered from them before but never looked at bags. Thanks hopefully I can find something fun!
