I use oil based recipe strictly for my banana bread and carrot cakes. I came online this morning to do research on both oil and butter based recipes and gladly I found people like me who prefer butter based to oil based.

This video is for me, all my cakes were oil based , but after a few collapses I have now switched to butter/margarine based - depending on what it is for. Thank you Oluchi. God help us all.

This video is so for me, I learnt alot from this video, is well detailed, I intended baking using oil based for my my mom's birthday. Now I know better. Ma please is it possible to travel with cake without it breaking or damaging?

I'm currently working with oil based cakes fory buttercream and whipped cream cakes and butter (Abi nah margarine)based cakes for my fondant.
Could you recommend some affordable butter brands that you've used when in Nigeria because I think margarine is a lot more common.

Butter cakes are good for all occasions, but oil based cakes are just restricted to some occasions because of its moistness nature

The taste is already different, but where i live, butter is too expensive vs Oil. So... I use oil.
