Saved By The Bell (originally Good Morning, Miss Bliss), features six enterprising, adventurous teenage students with inventive schemes and mischievous dreams. What I liked about Lisa Turtle is that she wasn't stereotyped as the loud screaming black woman. She was very intelligently and beautifully portrayed.
They stereotyped her being the talkative black person in the movies though

I never liked how they always made Lisa be the single one. Slater and Jessie had each other, Zack and Kelly had each other (and even when they weren't together, they still always had other dates) and sometimes even Screech had someone. But Lisa was always single, and yet she was just as beautiful and witty as Jessie and Kelly
Right?! No way a girl that beautiful should be single for a whole 5 seasons. I mean she had a fling every now and then, but they would always disappear the next episode. My favorite guy she hung out with was the cute freshman guy. They should had let him stay on the show.

I think I’ve seen interviews with Lark where she said she thought it was the producers who didn’t want her in any long term relationship because they didn’t know how to portray a black romance , and that they didn’t want her to compete with Kelly and Jessie for popularity.
Lisa and Screech sent the same vibes as Laura Winslow and Steve Urkel.

It’s because she could see that he wasn’t having any luck asking any of the other girls out. They wouldn’t give him a chance, just because they stereotyped him. I’m glad she asked him out, it showed that she had a good heart. Even though she didn’t like Screech in a romantic way, she cared about him as a friend, and she knew how humiliating it would be for him to be the only one who didn’t have a prom date.
Why are all of the other characters given 11-12 minutes and Lisa gets less than 8?
Because she's was stock up and horrible to work with behind the scenes,She had the same attitude of her character but in real life she's was self absorbed and egotistical

Screech and Violet would have a great couple together.
Absolutely not.
Screech and Violet would have been better. Because even though Screech had a crush on Lisa, everyone noticed that they did not have anything in common. For example, Screech wasn’t really into the clothes and fashion, it was just something he went along with to try to impress her, and she was not interested in any of his academic pursuits. At one point, Lisa told Screech that she wanted him just as a friend and nothing more. Violet was someone who did have common interests with him.
If you look at Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow from Family Matters, in spite of their differences, they did have some academic interests in common.
