wow. I was impressed with how he teaches the material so well every second of the video. If we have more instructors like him, we would have a whole generation full of bright minds.

Some other Enzymes can cut in the middle of the palindromic sequences , just between the two middle consecutive N-bases "meaning that it is not always a sticky ends cut"

    Thanks for your lectures!
Restriction enzymes could be used to fight viral genomes if it is possible to get the right restriction enzymes crossing the membranes of cells; the palindromic sequences of Leviviridae viruses could be substituted by the palindromic sequence of RNA viruses like the Coronavirus and then such RNA viruses could be used to infect susceptible bacteria in a hope that some bacteria will eventually create the restriction enzyme. I believe that some +ssRNA Leviviridae bacteriophage might have homology to at least a few pairs of nitrogenous bases from Coronaviruses, therefore it is probable, maybe likely that such restriction enzymes have already been isolated. I don't know yet, if it is possible to produce an inhalable medicine that would get restriction enzyme molecules to cross the membranes of cells along the respiratory tract.

    Hi, I have a question.
May I know what is the meaning of gene palindrome including reverse-complement non-repeating palindromes with an intervening spacer region?
    Thanks!
