Best Yankee team in the last 10 years.

Definitely since our last championship squad. That 09' Team was no joke.
Hahaha no, not really. This team is too "Home Run or Strike Out" extreme. The '09 team was better, AND especially on defense and overall hitting (Not just power). An infield of Tex, Cano, Jeter, and A-Rod was simply one of the best in decades. Matsui, Swisher, Damon, Posada, Melky, and Gardner were no slouch either.
They had 6 guys batting at least .280 and 2 guys hitting over .300 (Cano & Jeter). 7 players with at least 20 HRs and 2 with at least 30 (A-Rod and Tex. They also had 100+ RBIs). The infield defense was definitely better, except at short (Didi is surely an upgrade over Jeter defensively).
But, the upside is that the '18 Yankees is basically consisted of rookies (Torres, Andujar), sophomore/upstart players (Judge, Sanchez, Bird, Severino), and breakout players (Voit, Didi, Hicks). The established stars are on the pitching staff plus Stanton, McCutchen, and Gardner. They have so much potential.
Machado ain't never going to happen. They need starting pitching. Harper had a bad year. The Yankees are sold on youth and analytics

Disappointed in my A's, but that's the way it goes when you go toe to toe with the Bronx Bombers.

The Yankees were looking for someone who could produce now and that is what he is doing. Plus, Chasen Shreve was the worst in our bullpen

I did feel bad when he got emotional in the locker room but if there's trade talks he had to at least suspect he was up for debate. even tyler austin, said he was surprised but you kind of have to expect it. shreve, ugh I shudder just thinking about him. gray is like a step above him imo
Got rid of the goatee unbuttoned the top of his jersey and stepped into stardom with the Yanks! 🙌🏼⚾️

I saw this guy every day when he played at roger dean. I’m a season ticket holder for the Cardinals A+ team. This guy took steroids there’s no shadow of a doubt. He didn’t have much pop or flare and now I see him benching with one hand and getting all crazy. Reminds me of Clemons and bonds.
