I just want to thank you for continuing to review drugstore brands collections. I love the indies too but I am not too fancy for a mainstream drugstore polish. Some of them are good and some are poop and you always let us know which are which. Just because the prices are lower doesn't mean we wanna waste those dollars.

Anyone being nasty can just go be nasty and take that energy with them. I live in Hawaii and so I have some limited access to polishes (shipping restrictions) and I find a ton of value in seeing live applications before deciding if I want to really pursue a polish. ❤❤❤ 💅 ❤❤❤

They had a glow in the dark Halloween collection years ago and they were great but I have to agree these news ones are not good. Thank you for taking the time to review this collection
Picked up a LA Colors Glow in the Dark Polish at Walmart today $1.98. Purple shade called “cursed”. Brought bottle into my dark bathroom immediately and glowed. Sheer so not sure whether supposed to use alone or as a topper, but impressed with glow without even charging!
I have the Orly glow in the dark, and I got it on their website, but you're right they don't glow like they use to or as bright as you'd expect. Love your videos ❤❤😊😊

I got the Christmas Sally Hansen Miracle gel from Ultra today, I know their formula hasn't been the best, but these were pretty decent and I think the collection was cute. This video made me think of that because I got a few today 😊

It would have been nice if they kept the shimmer GITD and the re-release GITD, and made the rest of them speciality finishes that go along with a Halloween theme. I do like the creams, but they aren't exactly special. Great swatches as always though, thank you!
Sally Hansen had polishes similar to these last year, and the only way the glow would work is if the polishes were worn over white, which is lame. Maybe these are the same?

I always thought your supposed to hold your Nails after you paint them not in the bottle. But if the last one worked that way I guess it doesn't matter.
Oh no! The creams or the glow in the dark polishes? It could be an environmental issue like too much humidity. It could also be that you’re doing too many coats o the coats are too thick.
Bummer that 3 out of the 4 didn’t glow that well. Didn’t sally Hansen release a previous collection that was glow in the dark? Those seems to work well but all glowed the same color if I remember correctly
Last years halloween collection had a few glow in the dark polishes. I picked up the basic topper and one that was tinted pink with some shimmer (i think there were a few other tinted ones as well), and they both glowed pretty well. I actually really liked those two, so it’s crazy that these seemed to not glow at all 😳
The cremes are very good. But the glow in the dark, not so much. I don't know what is wrong with the glow in the dark formula. One of them work, some didn't. I might pass on the Halloween collection. Thank you,Janixa.
When your trying to do Halloween nails for October. You should try to be creative. Get Halloween colored polishes like orange, black, red, or purple. Or try getting darker polishes. The China Glaze Serpentine collection does have a Halloween--Fall vibe theme.
Do you mean these don’t feel like Halloween polishes to you? I agree. And also, SH seems to relevase these types of polishes for Halloween every year and they’re never very good.
If the glow in the dark polishes don’t give you the desired effect on your nails it’s better not to buy them. I do like Sally Hansen but there are certain polishes that aren’t worth buying. I know that China Glaze, Revlon, Essie, and occasionally L.A. Color Cosmetics are also good polishes.
@@anaerobic I always loved nail polish. I never told anyone but I used to bite my nails. When I started using nail polish, I no longer bit my nails. I like nail polish that has vegan based ingredients and that hasn’t been tested on animals. Both Sally Hansen and China Glaze are great polishes to work with.

I picked these up at HEB in Texas. I liked last year's GITD topcoats a lot but these are ok too.

Where my Ghouls at? is really pretty on it's own. In my opinion, the cremes would probably look better with a nice shimmer or flakey topper.

Shimmer would be nice! SH seems to release polishes like this every Halloween and they’re pretty boring.

I do both! Hold the bottle first and then the nail after it’s painted.

Holding the bottle up to the light doesn't do anything. Holding your nails up to the light after they're dry is the only way to make them work.
