When François Liets says something like that, you can be sure that the trip was insane... The story begins in the car park of Les Estagnots, where François and Pierre are discussing the forecast that are arriving in Indo. The swell promises to be amazing for Desert Point. The conversation is short, the tickets are bought for the following day and the two surfers take off with the hope of scoring perfect tubes. It's Pierre's first time in Indo. Accustomed to big waves like Jaws, Nazaré and Belharra, our rider Pierre Rollet has been hoping for some time to rediscover the essence of a surf trip. Discovering a new country, immersing himself in a new culture and surfing perfect barrels with friends in a pair of OXBOW boardshorts.
48 hours later, Pierrot and François arrive at Desert Point in their rustic accommodation, facing one of the world's most beautiful lefts.

Génial la vidéo, jsp si c'est volontaire mais ça peut être bien de préciser que desert point c'est à Lombok et pas Bali, deux îles certes en Indo mais qui n'ont rien à voir d'un point de vue culturel ! 😉
i went in 1989. We camped and cooked for ourselves. An entire family watched us prepare dinner. The locals had never seen a carrot. "Tourist food" one woman said. amazing.

I'm not sure why they recommend this? In America we don't like to read subtitles and I already know who the best surfers are. Never heard of this guy and he isn't very good
