This is what happens when people don’t use their brains! People were swimming with her and throwing stuff at her and now she’s killed. Freya wasn’t even living always in Oslo she was just travelling…it’s just heartbreaking.

I couldnt care at all if Freys hurt a grown up bothering her but the kids did seek her attention too… kids dont understanf and could be drowned and killd with extreme violence or traumatised for life… sadly it was the best for our young ones that dont understand because grown ups are stupid af

@@ReneeandLloydRamsey yup. We need to let natural selection run it's course. We are getting over populated anyway. We try to protect everyone from themselves. That's why humanity is going in reverse. Not as many of the bad genes being removed from the gene pool. That's obviously not the lone reason but definitely a factor, I believe.
What threat did they see. Shame on those involved they have a right to live as much as we do this is all our planet not just for humans.

Norwegians need help clearly
The Norwegians are great people, but there is something very insideous about their government.
The head of the Animal Services of the entire country said this was a rash and unnecessary decision. In The New York Times she said the walrus was confused but that she would have left the docks and found her way home eventually. Now, the walrus is tragically never coming home.
Well, she's wrong.
And the walrus isn't coming home because of the People who made it a spectacle.

Officials killed her because grown ups were doing so kids also went after her. Kids could be killed because of adult actions so its sad but the safest for the young ones

How sad is this. I did not expect a country like Norway to sink this low, it is shocking and disgusting. May karma have special plans with fisheries director Frank Bakke Jensen.
So tired of the comments blaming humans for playing around with her and blaming her for being a friendly walrus. They said, they had to because she posed a risk and because of the financial cost, the point of any of it, is they would've had to have moved her dead body from the water so they could've moved her living body out of the water to a safe tank, she did not have to die and in no way did she die because people fed her or provided her attention. She was killed and it wasn't necessary. Now that it has occurred hopefully there will be safety steps in place for the next walrus to be properly relocated, alive.

The people responsible are the ones who refused to leave the Walrus alone - It's not a pet, it's a wild animal.
Interaction with it will only endanger it and the people who DON'T KNOW that she exists.
She would have sunk a boat, people would have drowned and the Walrus would be euthanized anyway.
The problem isn't the Authorities who put her down, it was the People who failed to recognize the danger of not letting wild animals be left alone in their own environment.
Ya'll would have sadly said that "It needed to happen" if they euthanized Freya after she killed someone - But that wasn't a thing that crossed your heads before you commented how bad this was.
