this is a great supplement to a Lacrosse unit in physical education classes, especially when teaching remotely! Thank you for making this documentary to show the importance of tradition
This is such a great resource about lacrosse, I love being able to find information that comes from the Native people who play. I will have to show this to my teacher!
Im watching this 6 years after it was posted , this is such and inspiring documentary and just makes me want pick up my lacrosse stick and play. Have a different appreciation for the game that I already loved . Great video and very well put together and edited . Thankyou for posting
I’m Navajo and my grandma use to tell me as a young boy that lacrosse use to absolve conflict so much it ended and prevented wars. Even as navajos we heard stories of the sport and how it helped society.
I've got to figure you have no idea how disresectful and ignorant your comment is. You don't always have to make a comment, particularly when you know nothing about the subject at hand.
@@satman1w It's not about politial correctness and similar shit, my friend, it's about ignorance and disrespect. Did you even watch the video? Do know anything about the Medicine Game, the spiritual aspect of the Creator's game, what the stick that you refer to as a pooper scooper represents? The stick that the Natives bury with their dead you're going to call a pooper scooper. Can you see the ignorance (you obviously don't understand what that stick means) and disrespect there, or did you think your dog shit comment was so clever you just couldn't resist?
Love to see and learn more of lacrosse
Very soulful. I like lacrosse even more. Thanks!
Honored along with my son GT (Glenn~Tewaaraton) to be in the documentary… WWD thank you for doing such a great piece with Dr.Thomas James Reed making
