Jackie, I have learned so much in just this one tutorial than I have over the past nine months watching other TH-camrs. You are an excellent teacher! Thank you and I would really like to see more tutorials!
I am so glad it was helpful!
That you are able to paint multiple leaves and each one is identical to the last, is very impressive. That, right there, shows the difference between a Black Belt watercolor artist and the rest of us beginners😊
This way of explaining makes it so easy to understand the differences. The visual of having the squares on one page is great!
I’m glad it was helpful.
What every beginner need to know!!
I am 7:11 in and this is something I have been struggling with and I have never seen anyone else (including online classes I have paid for) explain how to do a clean flat wash background around an object and your explanation and demonstration is so clear. Thank you so much.
Your welcome. Set up a page like this for yourself and practice doing the flat wash several times. That way you can find the brush you like the best and an angle that works well for you.
So excited to have found you. Smooth Washes are one of my weaknesses in working with watercolors. The tip about slanting the picture and using the leading edge bead is so helpful. Thank you for this. I love your teaching style it’s so pleasant to follow along with you.
Yay! I’m glad it was helpful. If you want a fun way to practice washes, check out my video on painting gradients. th-cam.com/video/_0z1-QOLEvM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3zzNSb0WqC5xJp3M
Thank you! This is one of the best explanations I've seen that teaches how to work with watercolors and the "bead." Excellent work!
Thank you. I’m glad it was helpful.

Your welcome.
Such great info. Will be very useful. Thanks so much.
You’re welcome.
One thing I’d love to know is how to make bright, white object seem 3 dimensional and not flat. (Example, a white boat on the water, on a sunny day)
Great suggestion!
This was awesome! I really appreciate the way you explain things and demonstrate them. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
So glad it was helpful.
I just found your channel and love your teaching style! Thank you for sharing your talent.

You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
great tutorials!
Thank you!
You do a great job. Thank you
Thank you!
You’re a great teacher! When glazing, should the layers be watery or more syrupy?
Thank you 😊 With glazing, it depended how dark you want the color. More of the layer below will show through if you glaze with a watery mix. Less will show through with a syrupy mix and the result will be darker. A good trick when your learning is to paint a swatch from your base layer on a scrap piece of paper. Then you can test your glazing mix on it before putting it on your painting.
Thank You very much ❤
You're welcome ☺️
