Grew up in the seventies and my late DAD used to watch ol Fred on a Sunday afternoon if I recall correctly,so glad I can catch up on those great memories I had of the show on your channel ,I know Fred isn't in this uplroad but to see those engineering giants at work is amazing...Thanks
I booed when the modern truck came in at 5:51. "Get off the screen!" I yelled, my youngest song Torbin snarling at the screen. Eliza-Jane, my oldest started to cry. "What is that daddy? Why is it at the Great Dorset Steam Fayre? That runs on diesel likely" I know my love, I said, in a hushed quiet tone. It'll all be alright soon. Soon the steam engines will come back on and that monstrous thing will vanish from our lives. My wife, flush red with anger had to leave the room. I heard her screaming in the back yard for 29 minutes. I timed it. Framlin, Lort and Rebort all played silently at the foot of my television set, seemingly unaware of the heinous acts on screen, though I'm sure they'll remember it's impact for years to come. Then, a second time at 9:45 it returned. "Cover your eyes kids!" I shrieked, wife still outside screaming. Luckily it ccame and went. The one at 4:10 was my favorite thanks for sharing.
