Great video, The Bill was the best programme on TV. Can't believe the best police drama got axed. Hopefully itv decide to bring it back in the future. Many people and myself miss The Bill very much ;(
Wow.. Loved every second of this video. You have caught many many of the good scenes from the series. Sadly, makes me wish it would return to our screens.. Like everyone else, miss it very much. I wish Drama or Watch would show it from the very beginning all over again, would love that.. Again great video, well done mate!
The only The Bill tribute video worth watching. I’d have added some clips of other characters (like Burnside and people from that era). But that’s just me being picky. I’ve been watching The Bill loads over lockdown, and I only ever used to watch episodes from 2000 onwards, but I’ve started watching episodes from the late ‘80s/early ‘90s when it was still a half-hour show and they’re great. They get straight to the point, no faffing about TALKING about the crime or walking around in corridors or whatever. Just straight to the action, with good dialogue to match. I’d recommend these episodes to everyone. Skip forward to Cathy Bradford and Gabriel Kent and the show has gone from Drama to a Soap, which makes the last couple of series not worth watching. They should never have killed off Conway and Monroe, and they should never have got rid of Tony and Reg. There should’ve been more characters in the final episode who had been there since the start, rather than unlikable Hollyoaks wannabes.
Everything you have mentioned I agree with all the original characters were much better and made the show what it is up until 2002 when most off the original cast got killed of like chief superintendent brownlow, chief inspector Conway, inspector monroe, Sargent cryer and Dave Quinnan.
@markbickley thanks. yeah took a few weeks of spare time to edit it together... everytime I thought I was finished I found more to add to the video. there doesn't seem to be any videos like this on youtube that I could find for The Bill. Actually the video isy pretty funny if you look at it because its basically 6 minutes of characters getting shot, stabbed, murdered, blown up, run over, bashed and fire bombed, lol
@thebill9 the clip at 0:40 is from 1995 where June was being targeted by a hitman in a 3 parter ending with Jo Morgan being shot outside the station. That episode is called "Bait". The 3 eps are (Fire, All Tucked Up and Bait). A few of these earlier clips like this one, I've actually never seen these episodes. I started watching prob mid to late 90's half hr eps before it went to an hr long. Caught up with all the 80s eps from the Australian dvd releases.
I'm currently working on an updated & extended version of my video. Added some more clips. Hopefully it will be up sometime after the final episode airs here in Australia.
@edlawrence94 excellent video! great job! you've got quite a bit of extra footage I was looking for but couldn't find that I would have liked to have placed into my video such as just random police car chases and fights etc... but I think there would have been no room in my vid for that sort of footage without the video getting longer and longer.
As much as I like The Bill, I preferred it as it was before the 1998 revamp back in the days of Roy Galloway, Ted Roach, Tom Penny, Taffy Edwards etc. I did watch it afterwards, but it wasn't half as good.
@TheBillSunHill episode is from 2004 - ep #232 the bomb blast would have happened at the end of ep #231 Okaro was receiving hate mail at the time from Rob Thatcher... can't remember exactly what happened..
I hope I can meet the cast including: Cyril Nri, Alex Walkinshaw, Russell Floyd, Ofo Uhiara, Rae Baker, Scott Malsen, Beth Cordingly, Roberta Taylor, Steven Hartley, Diane Parish, Natalie Roles, Pal Aron, Chris Simmons, Graham Cole, Jeff Stewart, Bruce Byron, Wendy Kweh, Andrew Lancel, Simon Rouse, Brian Bovell, Christopher Fox, Lisa Maxwell, Cat Simmons, Daniel Flynn, Amita Dhiri, Gary Lucy, Micah Balfour, Doug Rao, Michelle Austin, Trudie Goodwin, Patrick Robinson, Sam Callis and Ali Bastian.
Really enjoyed watching The Bill over the years a good piece of TV Drama, I'd rather this show than all of the soaps that are on today.
And this is the reason I’ve been binge watching the Bill for the past 6 months
How to fall in love with The Bill in 6 minutes.
Great video, The Bill was the best programme on TV. Can't believe the best police drama got axed. Hopefully itv decide to bring it back in the future. Many people and myself miss The Bill very much ;(

Thomas Spall the bill is a load of shit
Absolutely brilliant 💗 I'm watching the repeats on TV and I'm hooked again
Thank you for including Jo Morgan in this, I always feel like she's forgotten about. She was one of my favourite officers 🤗

I love the bill and still do to this day
EXCELLENT video ! Very well made.
Excellent! Some of my favourite moments are in here :-D
It still saddens me when Viv Martella was murdered in The Short Straw. That episode attracted The Bill’s highest viewing figure of 17.5 million
The best programme! ❤️❤️
Wow the music goes on a key-change and hyper when we get to the likes of Cathy Medford and Gabriel "Motherfather" Kent
