    Great coverage of all the interrelated details. Nice practical examples too.

    This is a quite good video, honestely. Especially because it makes clear that trail braking is mainly a rotation tool and that the brake pedal is another form of steering.
    Another followup from this one is to breakdown which type of corners are more suitable to trail braking and how much type should you spend on the rotation part, depending on the corner.

    Ok long time racer but not great at proper trail braking. Threshold is primarily how ive been getting by. So gt3 no problem getting good at it quickly. Now the GTE im struggling to get all of it together. Locking brakes which i never used to, on the initial hit, then losing the back some on exit. I used to let the car coast, settle then accelerate which worked pretty good. Of course without the trail braking off pace a bit, not too much off pace, i got by. Ready 4 more! Thanks for any help. Maybe you could do a video using a gte car, like the ford, or ferrari!

    I was using g29 for 2 years and I always had tons of think while brake then upgraded to la prima pedals with elastomers upgrade kit, i always thought once upgrade to loadcell pedals braking would be natural without thinking about braking but till today I still think about trail braking during each corner🤦🏿‍♂️. I think driving with g29 too long left some side effects

    Could it be helpfull to adjust your car setup for trailbraking. And if so. In what way. Suspension wise or brake bias or maybe tyre pressure. Although trailbraking happens to me on occasion its not consistent. I know that practice helps a lot but with family live once or twice a month an hour is the reality. I’ve been racing since the race ‘07 game so I’ve been in it a long time and can’t seem to make that last step forward. If straightline braking is your go to, you will get bumped online in the corners by the guys who are better on the brakes.
    martijn.

      definitely a setup can help. even brake bias can help with trail braking!

    In step 1 when my car is stationary IRacing auto applies 100% brakes (I think they call it parking brake feature) That also shows on my overlay, is there any way to turn this aut brake off or I just have to change overlay tool?

    • @GitGudRacing
      @GitGudRacing  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      i think you have to change some of the settings in the overlay to get rid of that.

    What the most dont mention when youre on a Loadcell dont just release the Brakes. Release it while still feeling it on your legs like it has to be released with force and not with travel im still learning it but when inget it right i sometimes gain 0.5 on a corner.

      for VR overlays - anything will work with OpenKneeboard - you can find tutorials for that.

  • @bbogdanmircea

    Do you know any overlay that works in VR?

    • @Cyanbland_
      @Cyanbland_ หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use any overlay that supports a web output and combine it with OpenKneeboard (OpenXR). I use Kapps with Openkneeboard and it works really well

      There's a software called open kneeboard which makes any overlay work in VR.
