Westbrook is a liability, not an asset. He was 1 for 6 on 3 pointers in this game. He only averaged 27.3% on 3s last season and has a very poor 30.4% career avg for 3s. Opposing teams know they don't need to guard him closely on the perimeter, so they'll focus on the Nuggets' better shooters and play off of him to protect anything inside. That makes him a serious liability. And, the Nuggets can't allow him to take 6 three point shots in a game b/c he's such a poor 3 pt shooter. Other teams know that too. And, he had the worst +/- for the team in this game at -24. Last, the Nuggets simply can't play him 21 min/game like they did here because he's too much of a liability. He's not the only Nuggets' issue, but they never should have signed him.
