    Fulltimers here for 9 years. Just like so many others we also wish we had started this life years earlier but we have loved every single minute since starting this full time journey. We workamp 6 months and take off 6 months. We prefer to stay out west and we winter in Yuma AZ. Living this life is wonderful and being debt free is the way to live. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos.

      Thank you so much for watching! ☺We love that you work 6 and take 6 off! Do you winter at a resort in Yuma or boondock?

      @@whynotwander we rent a private lot out in the Foothills, we need a break from resorts. We have full hookups, a shed with a washing machine and a clothes line and great neighbors!

      @@whynotwander we were part timers for years and discovered fulltimer blogs before the You Tube days. We did a lot of research. Only regret is we wish we had started years earlier before retirement. It is a WONDERFUL life.

    This is a great video. I have learned so much from your channel, thank you. I am planning to retire early in five years and give work camping a try.

    I just discovered your channel! We’re exploring the notion of work camping; just me and our Sprinter van. My wife needs to stay close to home because of her elderly mother. We live in Sun City West, AZ and I retired from Trucking this year. We (and wife’s mother) bought
    house’s here 4-years ago and love it here. I’d like to work camp during the summer season to escape the heat and make some money. I have a current CDL-A and you peaked my interest when you mentioned a seasonal driving job. However, I applied this weekend to work camp jobs.
    We’ll see what happens ❤

      We're SO happy you discovered the channel and thank you for the comment! ❤ We spent much of this past winter in AZ and LOVED it! Hopefully you land a work camping job that you love and make a little extra money as well. 😊

    Great video. I love the honesty. I have started to downsize it's just hard to figure out the next steps.

      "It's just hard" Hold on to that thought for a moment.
      I am currently downsizing now. I have hauled off the junk I don't use to the recycle center, I have sold many things in various yard sales that my friends are having. I have sold a few things on FB Marketplace. There has been a FOR Sale By Owner sign in the front window of my home now for the last few weeks. To add insult to injury I am going through a few health challenges as well.
      I am an empty nester with no fulltime partner in my life with two failed marriages in my past where I have lost everything BOTH times and I had to start over BOTH times. Talk about hard!
      Life is hard, it is always hard, nothing good comes easy or free. We, you and I, are very familiar with hard. But always remember it's all about the "Dash". So what do I mean about that? On a tomb stone there is the year you were born and the year your died. Between the two years is a dash... It's all about the DASH!
      We have found inspiration in this video as well as many other videos, we have visions and dreams and the only thing that can keep you from your visions and dreams is you. Stay engaged and keep your "next step" in view, to only need to do one step at a time. You Got This! {Mitch}

    Another great podcast! I wished we would have thought about rving earlier in our life. We are in our 60s so the sooner the better before it's to late.

    Good interview. What do you guys do about health insurance? Do work camping employers provide it? Or you need to purchase it on your own?
