    TOP 3 most unreliable crossover
Hyundai Tucson came in second place
Hyundai Tucson (type TL) fixed all the shortcomings of its predecessor, the ix35. But even new models have problems with the rear suspension. In 11% of cases saw a problem with the Parking brake and discovered the defects in the body.
    Kia Sportage
3-year-old Kia Sportage too cannot brag of outstanding reliability. Despite the improved form, making adjustments in the design and correction of “childhood diseases”, 7% SUV find a lot of unpleasant things: problems with the electronics, brakes and quality suspension is deteriorated compared to the previous model range 2010.

Way too expensive. R6000.00 for a Kia?

Ridiculously overpriced car. The top spec model is R600,000!! Who in their right mind says no, I won't get the X3 or the GLC or the Q5. I'll get the Kia. No one! It is ridiculous. And no it isn't that high quality in feel. The new Tiguan and 3008 absolutely trumps this overpriced Kia. How pathetic. They have some nerve to charge such prices. At that price, this car is purely average and that is unacceptable.

SDav21 it is a matter of affordability. The top spec Kia comes with all extras as standard except the panoramic sunroof, in order to get the same extras in a base x3 or glc you would have to pay R850k for a base car. The Kia is value for money. Unless you have an extra R250k for extras get the Kia.

It isn't and it doesn't. It comes with a sad low resolution small touch screen. It doesn't have a collision avoidance system, blind spot monitoring, radar cruise control, head up display etc. It comes with basic full house stuff. The Kia is no where near close to as well engineered as a German car. On the German cars you get all you need. The Kia comes with no noteworthy features and at that price it is missing a hell of a lot. The Kia is NOT value for money. Not anymore. The person who buys this....I just don't even know. A car is not made up of its features. You drive the car not the features. The Kia may have sat nav in that model but it looks like a cheap Garmin and operates like a Chinese head unit. In a German car, you get a very high resolution screen. You pay for the sat nav because that isn't all it does. It is link to the drowsiness detection system which will recommend a rest stop along the route if it detects drowsiness. It lets you know if you need to refuel before your journey based on the amount of fuel left and then even tells you where to stop to prevent running out of fuel. In some instances, the map data is even used to determine where rises in the road occur to downshift before the rise thus saving fuel. You pay for this engineering. The Kia just says go left or right on that sad low res screen in it. Anyone can build a car full of features but not everyone can engineer a car where the features make an actual difference. If I just wanted navigation I'd use Google maps on basically any phone. This Kia is overpriced. Like all of them these days. They have become greedy and have a nerve to charge such high prices for average cars. Kia is screwing over all of their customers who don't know any better. They are pathetic but at least not as pathetic as Hyundai who basically sells plastic shit at premium prices. A Kia Rio Tec and i20 Fluid cost more than a Clio but the Clio has a MODERN turbo engine, sat nav and cruise control AND is well made and engineered. They have no excuse for their overpriced underspecced subpar average cars. The new Sportage is at least R100,000 overpriced. Gosh what a nerve! I feel horror for the people who actually buy it because I just can't fathom the mind of one who does. Even the base model is overpriced and you get nothing together with an old fashioned, fuel inefficient, wheezy naturally aspirated petrol engine. I feel disgust for the Hyundai and Kia brand. I will never support them. They have pulled wool over most consumers eyes and I will not.

lol! Who are you to ridicule Kia for pricing their own car? It's simple! if you don't like it, don't buy it. You're way too emotional and sensitive over something so petty. I actually own one and I'm very happy with the price.
