I knew Connor Zilisch was going to be a superstar ever since he won the Rolex 24 in the LMP2 class. He also won the 12 Hours of Sebring in the LMP2 class. Not to mention, he was the finishing driver in the 12 Hours of Sebring

The thing about Zilisch is that he's been good at every track he's raced on-short track, superspeedway, intermediate, or road course- that's the most exciting thing about him for me.

Another name to look out for is Katie Hettinger. Her family recently bought a truck series team that will be full time next year and gave Moffitt 2 truck series races at the end of the year but she's not some sorry paydriver either. She's only 16 but she's already the winningest female in the history of Hickory and won the World Series of Asphalt which at her young age shows a lot of promise. She could be that female superstar NASCAR was hoping Danica or Deegan to be, let's hope she isn't rushed and takes the right steps because if she does, she will get NASCAR a lotta outside exposure

I feel like Blaney was born in the wrong era. If he was a driver in the 90s or 2000s he’d be one of the biggest stars in the sports history. Just unfortunate nascar doesn’t have the mainstream recognition it used to.

One I am surprised isn’t on here is Christopher Bell. He’s exceptionally talented and I think he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. Bell is good at almost any track type. Sure he’s okay at superspeedways but with how the new cars are it’s a crapshoot who wins a superspeedway race. I think he’s a future multi time champion. I’m sure when he retires people will miss him being on track.

Absolutely excellent list. Would like to include Christopher Bell & Tyle Reddick as well. Have to admit Connor Zilisch is AMAZING in front of the screens. Kyle Larson is 12 years into his cup career. That alone already disqualifies him from being the next superstar. If anything I feel the fan base has become more disenfranchised with each passing year regardless of results. Connor and SVG are the total package. Connor brings youth and incredible talent. SVG brings experience from other discipline's and inspires older fans by the way he's tackling this transition while showing great appreciation for American motorsports. They will be the one's elevating the sport for the next 5 years. Outside of Ross Chastain I don't see any other current driver capable of moving the bar.

Larson already IS a superstar, what he's accomplished, not just in NASCAR, but in racing as a whole, and he's only 32. Sprint car fans pay attention to him when he's running NASCAR, NASCAR fans pay attention to him when he's running sprint cars, sprint car fans pay attention to him when he's running late models...you see what I'm getting at. He's currently the most talented driver and all around racer in America. People gravitate and pay attention. I saw him race 410s back in 2020, won the race, signed anything and everything he could after the races. He's a personable guy as well.

The rest of the Cup field doesn't excite meet. They have been molded and manipulated by corporate interests to the point that they are cardboard cutouts of their real selves.

    Blaney - Never
Chastain - He is close already.
Breidinger - Never. Seen her in Toyota commercials, but never knew her name until this video.
    SVG- Possible
    Caruth - Never
Zilisch - Never knew his name or face until this video. If he is as good as you say, he has a chance at pulling off a Jeff Gordon.
Larson - Is this a joke? Larson's name and face are well known outside of NASCAR already.

Ryan preece will never be someone that outside of nascar people care about. Ryan preeces family doesn’t even know who he is.
If a woman had pace and could win 1 race a year in cup she would be a bonafide star.
SVG is an international driver that can bring more legitimacy to the sport. It has lost that over time.

What SVG has done coming to a new category at this point of his career is nothing short of amazing and should command respect. He was recently asked about NASCAR drivers coming to race Supercars and said he’d be surprised that with limited practice NASCAR Cup drivers would do anything but finish at t back. With little to no testing and practice he was able to contend for wins in both Xfinity and Cup. In a Kaulig Cup car he finished 12h at Martinsville. Something half the Cup folded haven’t been able to do their entire careers.
