- An overview of the whole opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter featuring author J.K. Rowling and actors Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, Rupert Grint and more. You'll see the author and actors tour the area, try a butterbeer, walk the red caroet, take the stage for the opening fireworks show, and talking to children at the grand opening.

i mean its only one great theme , Harry Potter. Now Disney has hundreds of wonderful spectacular themes.
Then again, imagine how awesome Disney World would be if they actually had something like this.
Just imagine something like a Walk in Stark Tower or a Hoth Hangar with an actual Millennium Falcon to walk in and such.

It depends becuase a lot of them you don't even hear from because they decided to either live normal lives and quit while ahead or just simply do other things that make them happy.

The christening couldn't have been more perfect. Harry himself having the audience use their wands with him to light everything up. Such a cliche statement, but there's no other word to describe it but...magical...
You know what gets me, i wonder if these actors miss it. I get an overwhelming feeling of sadness still knowing that it's over, i wonder if these actors stay in touch or just get tired of it
It's never over. The films are still here, the books are still here and there's also a whole new generation of characters, who bring with them possibilities of more adventures in the future 😊

I'm 22, I grew up reading the books so when I first saw the train I got a little teary eyed. It's amazing to see the books come to life, which is why I'm glad they're expanding it! Can't wait Universal Orlando 2014.
I can't believe what it would be like to be J.K Rowling at the moment. Her books that she created have changed my childhood and millions of others. And to believe the franchise has it's own theme park now. It makes me sad to believe that it's close to finished. I think it's an end of an era, but the opening of this theme park is just extraordinary. I would kill to go.

No he didn't. I read the book. In fact, I just looked at the final pages right now to confirm it. It ends the exact same way it did in the movie, with Harry and Ginny dropping of their middle son Albus off at Platform 9 3/4 to start his first year at Hogwarts, though with a few additional details thrown in as you would expect. Where did you get the idea that he died in the book?
This should be in the UK, not in the US.

This actually made me cry a little. Because its so beautiful, and because I know I'll probably never get to go..
I went last year and could not believe the attention to detail. As soon as I walked into the 'world' my jaw just dropped. And as for the Enchanted Forest ride...I think part of my brain actually exploded from amazement...I got off the ride and just stood with my mouth open in complete disbelief. Don't get my wrong, I'm a disney man through and through, but that is the best ride I have ever been on!

I was very lucky to go there last winter, but then I sadly had a very bad headache so I missed out on a lot of the rides and stuff. I had a great time on the Hogwarts express and I believe every HP fan should go there even if its for only a few seconds or under a less happy situation
How J.K must feel to walk through her own completed universe.... This is what happens when you're a spectacular writer. And I can only hope the same happens to me.
I'm so proud of Mrs. J.K Rowling... if she didn't write Harry Potter series, these dreams were not able to be here this world... and all actors and music.... Thank you for your inspiration, Mrs ☺

i got chills when they said lumos maxima and the fireworks went off. so magical
i aaaalways start to cry if i see one of those videos which show me a reunion of all the harry potter stars or videos from the theme park .. i want harry potter to go on. it let my heart brake into little pieces again and again .. and when i got used to it and put all the pieces together it makes my cry again :D first point on my wish list: let harry potter go on; second wish: get me to the wizarding world of harry potter !

I love this. I always knew that a theme park attraction of Harry Potter was going to come to Universal Studio. I have always known this ever since the very first book of Harry Potter came out.
I can't WAIT to go see this in person!! My plane tickets and room are booked and I'll be there in mid-December... now if only I could get my hands on a Time Turner... July is to far away.

I was there this summer from Sweden! Were there on a language trip with a lot of my swedish and european friends. It was so awesome, and I'm glad that I've tasted butterbeer! I did'nt know that the Harry Potter stars have been there and walked on that ground, sade as me :D

i went there last summer and it is amazing. really feels like your in the wizarding world. My sister (who is the biggest harry potter fan in the family) got picked for the olivanders thing. That and the Jurassic Park area (at least for me) were the best areas of thee entire park.

I rarely laugh out, out of joy or humor, even if I think something is hilarious. But going going to that park, riding the tour of hogwarts ride, and even waiting in the extremely well detailed lines, caused me to geek out to the point of almost constatntly smiling or 'lol'ing. The place is truly incredible, and almost a necessity for any huge potter fans, who want to remember why they loved hogwarts in the first place.
I live twelve miles from there and I still get so excited every time I see it! I wonder how J.K. Rowling must feel as she created this, but she seems so calm!
I was 11 when I started reading HP, back in 1999. I'm a little too old for this now, but back then this would have been an incredible experience for me. Maybe, some day, I'll take my future children there... hehe.
