The comics you have no idea about are IW/Super comics, which are all Golden Age reprints and I collect them! Have well over 100 of them. They were published from the late '50s to the early '60s and include some really cool stuff!

The Avenger #9: I.W. Publishing usually reprinted older comics, I don't know if they did any original characters/titles; still, it is a 10 cent book. That issue of Buccaneer also looked like an I.W. book.
Tales Of Suspense #52 must be one of the highlights of this collection.
The Morbius run in Fear is a fun, very 1970s story.
Hmmm, Lois and Lana's kids falling in love gives the Elvis movie "Kissin' Cousins" a whole new angle.
Worlds Unknown is one of Marvel's more obscure 1970s titles, it began by adapting famous SF stories and ended by adapting a Sinbad movie - clearly Marvel didn't really know what to do with it.
I'd enjoy seeing more videos like this warts-and-all view of a collection: the prizes, the dross, the just plain wacky comics.

Well the cat got the canary at last, you look mighty pleased with those books, and they are something are they not.
As my good friend Charlie Dogg day both the Avenger and Buccaneer are from those scoudrals IW. Dick ayers art for the avenger and Reed Crandall for Buccaneer.
I look forward to the next episode in the reveals.

When I first started collecting in mid 1970s Superman 167 was ome of my favorites in Superman line...nice broad collection pickup..Batman Giant #5 I got my mom to buy off spinner rack on an out of town trip...good memories.

Avengers #9 I.W. publications was a small publisher that repackaged old purchased Golden-Age art usually with new cover art. Same with Buccaneer book
