    Thanks bagwell farm for the review, I've been considering a accumulater system at some point. My personal best day was 1850 bales kicked on 12 wagons with my son towing and backing them in the barn, after watching this I can see chasing all those bales with the skid loader isn't for me, the tow behind accumulater has that covered, we still have the problem of stacking in the barn ( 14 layers on edge to reach the trusses ). Even if I was to go the stackcruiser route ( as another commenter suggested for you ) it would still take a lot more stacking to fill the barn. For now we'll have to continue as before, yes it is work and we sweat profusely but so far nobody has died.

    I spent a LONG time evaluating methods to put up squares with as little labor as possible on rolling ground in smaller fields. I traded around for a Steffen 950 and it is slick. I added teeth to the grapple so flat or edge works great. We hand move bales on the ground to make a center tie layer so there are no unsecured bales on the top.

    I have an accumulator built by Parris ag in alabame that pulls behind the baler{I have 4690 hesston} it puts the bales in packs of 10. The accumulator attaches to the bale chute . I finish baling then go back and load bales with grapple like you have.I work by myself so I load all my wagons and put them in the sheds and unload next morning while the dew is burning off. I live in south carolina and have terraces and have no trouble with this method. you can look them up on internet or i will be happy to send you some pictures if you like . I saw the system work at the sunbelt expo. I enjoy your tour and info about your equipment.

    We load trailers all the time in the fields, just give them a little push. If you put up enough hay you need a standard grapple at the barn anyway.

    Steffen System model 950, a pull behind accumulator, will also do what you want to so.

    Hey Bagwell you NEED TO SEE THESE TH-cam VIDEO‘S BELOW. 1. This video is called; (TENPACK‘S 20 BALE GRAB) In my opinion this is the best way to handle hay, Because they load and unload from a semi. and that trailer looks like a 48 foot flatbed that been used. I‘d rather see a 53 foot drop deck flatbed doing the job, because you could get more bales on the 53 foot flatbed semi trailer. 2. This video is called; (SCOOPING UP 120 SQUARE BALES AT A TIME) 3. Next video is called; (BRITTON‘S STRAW SYSTEM) 4. Next video is called; (NATIONAL HAY ASSOCIATION) 5. Next video is called; (MARCREST SQUARE BALE ACCUMULATOR) 6. Next video is called; (FRANK‘S BALE STACKER) 7. Next video is called; ( BAILING HAY WITH STEFFEN 1550 ACCUMULATOR) Bagwell see all, And share what‘s here with friends and family.

      Lewis Renovation & Repair I don't really have a problem with it if I do have one come up really long I'll just throw it on the back of the truck the Massey is Perty good at making consistent bales our old ford we had would throw a long one every now an then but I'd just make it work theirs a good bit of give an take with the maxilator

    Thank you for the info. We have a large hay barn in the field we square bale. If u only stack 1 wide like just using a ton truck to haul the bales. Can u use the maxilator with the pieces attached to stack in the barn?

    • @BagwellFarms
      @BagwellFarms  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can but I wouldn't recommend it it leaves the stacks loose an sometimes can lead to them falling

    Seems to me you just need about one and a half as many hooks. That way it will pick them up no matter where the bale is.
