Cool show guys! Never expected a lot of the scenery to look a lot like home (south central Ontario Canada), aside from the red clay of course. Always envisioned Australia as a little more arid. Can't wait to watch the next few episodes!
Watched this ep probably half a dozen times in the past 5 years, will miss seeing Sandy in the show but cant cry over spilt milk. Heres to the future eh'
Hell yeah that shorty is sick. My mate has a shorty Maverick/GQ but his is a bucket of crap and he'd have rolled it 20 times if he was doing what you guys were doing with it before the race. Cool show dudes
Man all of that is my dream to once come true hope to god I'll be able to someday race one of them right now i race my custom built off-road gocart man that was fun till i encountered a rock 😔
good video except the rubbish with the milk in the prologue. If you have raced as much as you claim you know how wrong that is apart from the danger what sort of image does it give
Obviously can't speak for them, but... Shorty as a body/driveline etc means it's lighter, less chance to belly out/get caught on rocks cause of better center clearance, better approach and departure angles too, much more agile also, generally a better turning circle than a lwb, harder to bottom out on sharper crests, more strength through the middle of the rig too. Less mass for the suspension and tyres to deal with too, so better wear out of those types of components. Extending it to a mwb kinda gives the best of both worlds. Improves that departure and approach even more, also cuts down the overhang off the back end. Plus I imagine it'd make it harder to flip when ascending a steeper incline to, especially at speeds. Again extending to a mwb helps with weight distribution, less ass end weight, meaning less mass pushing weight towards behind the rear axle. As well as that, going sideways around a corner, because of the shorter length than an LWB, it's easier to control and harder to under steer. Makes over steer slightly easier sure, especially on wet roads, makes skidding out a tad easier as well
Cool story and production but its a bit over produced with too much music, glamour and slow-mo shots. It just makes it a bit messy, tedious, fiction like and not RL.
Aus4wd overcharge for their work and do a shit job. If you like paying thousands of dollars for a bad job then go right ahead and use them. If you want a job done properly then go elsewhere. Don't listen to their excuses of they charge more because they do a good job, it's because they need to fund their expensive hobbies and the easiest way to do that is rip people off.
so cool wish they had racing like this in the states, its like a mix of desert racing and rally.
you got me with the music, phutureprimitive and off road racing.... beautiful
really looking forward to new episodes. thumbs up guys!

Bloody good stuff I enjoyed it really good to see a Aus team. Rev head,
At 2:30. What's that in the rear coming down as the suspension bottoms out? 4 link bars break or is it a anti wheelie set up somehow?
Very cool! Awesome idea.

All music credits are at the end of the show.

Hi, what is your best contact email?
Get drives like so do on the road on dash cams lol
why shorty
