Thank you for the video. Very well made and easy to follow through. I made myself one with LG 18650MH1 and it works fine.
I know this is an old video. But what exactly did you do at 9:20 mark? How did you connect the negative of the top cell with the BMS negative? Did you use a small cable? You cannot solder the thick welding strip to a small part on BMS without touching other components?

From the bottom battery I came with a cable and for the top one I used the tape from the battery, I joined them both on the bms
The area where the strip with the negative from the top battery comes is free, on the bms there is no circuit other than minus, it has nothing to short circuit.
You don't have to do exactly what I did, if you have another idea

So I was needing a fix for dremel 3800 same attery as the bosh standard got on the Samsung 40t and I got 3 so 3100 Mah seem worth it 6k for that bottom brick I like it but swinging that all day might get ya tired tho

This BAT420 contains 6 batteries that have 3Ah with 4 Volts
2 batteries in parallel forming a package of 6Ah and 4 Volts.Then the 3 packages in series result in 6Ah and 12 volts.
Volts break a motor, not amperage.
The higher amperage will bring you more autonomy.
Higher voltage can burn the motor.

@@angreenbird Probably low continuous max discharge cells. For power tools, cells should be 20amps minimum. Good choice would be Samsung 25r. Regular Batteries with rating of 5C below will not work for sure.

You can but it is not recommended for the batteries. If you do it though, do it quick to not heat the batteries too much.

Can I use the Bat420 for GSB Bosch drill?
If it's a 10.8V or 12V Bosch Professional (Blue) drill, then yes. If it's an 18V or Bosch DIY (Green) one, then no.

@@CMCdiy То есть в рукоять их поместится только две, правильно? Тогда 4 вынести по подобию шестиамперного аккумулятора. Платы для выравнивания тока и защиты от перегрева самому придётся искать кто изготовить? Я, к сожалению, в транзисторах, резисторах и тому подобном не разбираюсь.

i personally would have replaced the 3 2amp cells in the small battery with 3 cell 4amps and i would have got a 4 amps battery in half the size.
Where you find 4Ah batteries? On Aliexpress? It's fake. Maximum volume of 18650, that i know - 3.4Ah and it's not high output batteries. Typical volume of high current cells - 2.5-3.0Ah.
