I love that whomever censors these things, beeps the first couple of F bombs then apparently gets bored or disinterested and doesn't bother after a few minutes.

Listening to old promos like this remind me when wrestling was as humorous as it was believable because nobody held back in the territories and so it produced some real comedic gold the censors of today would shit bricks over.

I didn’t like Sunshine growing up. I really didn’t want her hanging around Kerry. Didn’t trust her. I like when Andrea the giant(Baby Doll) beat her up. I watched every Saturday night with Marc Lowrance hosting. It was good, not boring. You had to be a Texan to love it.

Cornette is absolutely insane. That two hour broadcast was the BEST wrestling show ever at that point. It showed main even caliber matches. It had the fantastic interviews. This was the A-show in World Class. The Sportatorium show was the b-show.
When I traveled, wrestling tv in other areas, including the WWF, were unwatchable because I was used to the World Class Saturday night show.
It was better than a LOT of what was out there but it was hit and miss
her promo is terrible.

Marc Lowrance wasn't a pastor when this occurred, though he did tell viewers each week to attend the church of their choice. He entered the seminary in 1986 or thereabouts. While in seminary, World Class had seriously slowed down to the point where his main job was at a car dealership. He left wrestling in 1990 when he was ordained.
