The LEGO Group has revealed a wave of Chinese Traditional Festivals 2024 sets at the annual China International Import Expo.
A total of four different LEGO sets are on the way in 2024 to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, including two large sets - one purely for display, the other anchored around minifigures - a Disney-themed BrickHeadz and what looks likely to be a gift-with-purchase. Official images of the two larger Chinese Traditional Festivals 2024 sets have popped up on the LEGO Builder app, while Wooden Duck has photographed the others on the show floor.
Check out all four new LEGO Chinese Traditional Festivals sets below. Details including prices, some piece counts and release dates have yet to be confirmed, but we’ll hopefully see full product listings for these sets on LEGO.com later today.

I was doubting myself whether he was speaking in cantonese in the first place

The Monkie Kid theme has been knocking it out of the park since day 1! I don't know how well it does in western markets, but it's one of the most creative and fun themes with such terrific building experiences. Megapolis looks fantastic - can't wait to combine it with the City of Lanterns. Thanks for the video.

Doesn't help that the theme is only available on lego's site unless you are lucky to live near a lego store (not my case); I have never gotten a monkie kid set nor I think I will.
I gotta get one of that green helmet though xD

Lunar new year sets are awesome for general Lego stuff, unconnected to the sets being lunar new year themed

I think all of these sets are incredible, but I wouldn't purchase them even if I could afford them, because I'm waiting for the Orient Express!

I’m buying this as year of the dragon is me and only comes around every 12 years

For me the best was that first house which didn't release outside of China.. closely followed by Spring Lantern Festival which luckily I did get.
This new family reunion is pretty cool but I'd want 2 to enclose the building and that'd be 200€.. not nearly as good of a set as spring lantern festival.

The only thing that these sets do wrong is that they prove even more that Star Wars gets the short end of the stick. Its a little disappointing to know that their bigges liscensed theme going on since 1999, and probably the bestselling theme for LEGO has worse quality then the lunar year celebratory sets. Both of the original Chinese Lunar sets 100% will be gerring their places overshadowing my collection with their beauty

Why don’t they have people do these presentations who can actually do presentations. This was hard to watch

Totally agree, this was really, like REALLY bad performances.

It may not be very polished, but it makes sense to have the designers talk about their own sets, and I have to keep in mind that English isn't their first language, nor are they professional speakers.

Because they are the ones that were involved with designing the sets and have pure passion for the sets rather than using a speaker.

Yes it was a very strange atmosphere. Like if they don't like each other. We feel distrust in the eyes, annoyance, embarrassment. When I saw this video I said to myself that the work environment is rotten.
