Super video and research, I, too, illustrate and write my children's books on Amazon KDP; I still need to get the books out there; most have been bought by people I have met in person, so I have been able to sign their copies, alas there's no farting in my books at the moment, only lots of pot-holes, recycling plastic and road safety, but one day, Cornelius Cone and friends will get there :-)
The fact they can terminate your account is worrisome.

Book Creator Course link not working on iPad.
You can see with Helium that the started advertising heavily about 3 weeks ago, so, while the $12,000 a month figure is impressive, we can't know if they even made money. It's entirely possible they spent 13,000 on ads....
If you look back before May the rankings shifted around 4,000 to 10,000, so 26 books a day to 12 a day, so maybe averaging about $50 a day in royalities, mas o menos, still, not bad for a single book to pull in (realizing it's very likely the series helps sell the singleton for many psychological reasons). However, we still don't know how much money is being spent on ads.
For adult fiction, ads at any scale above micro spends will lose money without strong read-through, but I have no experience (yet) with ads for a picture books and I'm super curious what kind of bids and ACoS people are getting.
In any case, I think it's very important to point out that while we can prove the sales and royalities with third party apps and Amazon figures, we cannot know the Amazon ad spend.
Anyone that's been in this business for a minute should be well aware that if you don't sacrifice to the Amazon gods, your book(s) will be invisible (without outside traffic). So, if you're getting sales, it's axiomatic you're using Amazon ads unless you've got a strong TT account or you run FB ads or maybe you're famous (that always helps).
Anyway, thanks for these videos, they are helpful and I appreciate the time and effort. You can use the Helium extension for free, btw, to see rankings going backward (thus you wouldn't have had to guess in this video when you said you didn't know how it was selling prior to now ... probably the publisher started advertising specifically for Father's Day, but realistically, if they're not seeing much in the way of downstream sales, they are likely making no money out of that 12K or very little, it's easy to spend more than you make on Amazon ads, unfortunately).

I am clearly not her, but as far as I know, you can use Canvas' assets as long as you modify or alter them some way. You can't use them "as they are", in that case, they are copyrighted.

I’ve asked this question with other TH-camrs that do KDP. They never answer this question. So my guess is they make more money on TH-cam and courses then they make on KDP books. So if they do make a book for KDP then it’s really just to show you how they made it so they can post it on their courses or TH-cam because that’s where they really make the most money.

You do. When I wrote my first book my illustrator informed me of this. It’s because of the binding. I had to add to my story. And then adjusted all of my other stories. We just released our 5th book on kdp. The Adventures of RiRi. I used my youngest daughter as the main character in my book series.

Didn't love this. The question "how did they do it?" wasn't answered. We learnt about accounts getting terminated. There was nothing in this video that showed why an author was getting $12,000 per month from one Children's Book
This is outdated. AI can write and illustrate a book within a few minutes.
But a.i. written books are tagged and removed for plagarism if they are for sale. A writer cannot use anothers product regardless of a.i. or not. A.i. cannot write completely in anothers writers style although it tries.
Anything that's plagiarized will be removed whether it was written by manually or with AI. We can use AI for brainstorming, creating your own angle with unique prompts and writing original scripts. However if you just tell AI to write a thriller or romance novel, that's where issues with originality and plagiarism arise
