hello. I've been looking at the comments in my videos about me saying that galinda is a lesbian. she is NOT a lesbian. however, I just like to have fun and make these funny edits and as a gelphie shipper, I add those "details" just for fun. please do not take my videos seriously. I did an audition zoom workshop with her in the beginning of quarantine and she was actually so sweet. She asked us what parts we did in our school musicals/plays and when I told her that I was a villager in Fiddler on the roof but we didn't get to do it, she asked for the name of my character. When I told her we didn't have a name for my character, she told me the story about how the whole cast of Legally Blonde collectively named the stenographer character- I think it was Denise?- and after I told her that my character had been designated as the town whore because of my costume missing a button, she promptly named my rural Russian peasant from the early 20th century Regina. She told me to tell everyone. I'm telling you guys now, I guess.
A little girl who was probably about 11 sang 'Poor Unfortunate souls" and Ms. Annaleigh said that the Little Mermaid is currently her kid's favourite movie so she knows all of the words and complimented her. She was honestly so nice.

The time I saw her play Galinda during the popular number when she throws the wand it hit one of the gears at the side of the stage, ricocheted back and landed at her foot, she then promptly kicked it offstage. Girl playing Elphaba lost it and the whole scene ground to a halt as they laughed about it. It was great

on my very first trip to new york i got to see stephanie j block and annaleigh ashford in wicked and i immediately fell in love with theatre, when annaleigh was in kinky boots i wrote a letter to the theatre to tell her how much her performance inspired me and changed my life and she sent back a signed photo of her as glinda. she's my favourite glinda for sure (though i'm heavily biased lol)

Whenever I hear that Annaleigh Ashford is going to be in a Broadway show I rushed to see that show! She is awesome! I've now seen her in several. She played the dog in Sylvia. Because of her, I saw it multiple times. It was an astounding performance, that my friends and I still talk about😂

I saw her in Chicago and I left the theatre crying for Glinda. I felt so sorry for her and was so invested in her well being. Yes, she was rich and spoiled but she overcame it and tried to do good in a bad world.

She’s one of my favorite Galindas, after Kristin Chenoweth’s Popular nobody else seemed to have the same sort of comedic timing, so they just looked like they were trying too hard to make it funny by making Galinda act like a toddler. However Annaleigh does a REALLY good job, she has that sort of comedic timing that made Kristin’s great!

We saw Eden Espinoza and Kendra Kassebaum in the San Francisco run . They were both great but Annaleigh took Glinda to comic heights that I doubt that anyone could match. It almost looked like high caliber improv at times.
