I don’t just think I know Kurt would’ve LOVED this….I remember reading an interview with Dave Grohl & he said that right as Nirvana was blowing up they were on tour somewhere in the States & a young black guy recognizes Kurt & approaches him to tell him how much of a fan of his music he was & after the interaction Kurt was a little confused but still just over the moon with happiness & he told Grohl “that’s the 1st time a black person has told me they like my music” & was ecstatic about it so imagine if he saw this? 🥶🖤

He said it himself. He just wrote music he and his band could Play to tour! Even smells like teen spirit. Kurt hated that song! Hated that it went mainstream. Even Dave frikken Used disco drums on that one. Call it a manufactured hit if you will. Everything kurt was against. My point is. Look how the industry idolizes an artist who wrote simple music intentionally to try and remain virtually unknown.

Nirvana literally mainstreamed grunge and alternative rock all together. Only lasted 3-4 years in popularity, but they changed a lot in that time.

Do some research and you will see that I am correct. Also the way Snoop is basically saying that they are mates when they possibly met in passing maybe once (and I even doubt that) screams bullshit. So I can see that being a way they met. Most people don’t know that Nirvana played in Mexico, let alone played 4 times so I can see why it’s not common knowledge. Besides that they were both at the VMAs in 1993. Im not buying that they were friends, don’t get it twisted, and we all know Uncle Snoop loves to exaggerate, but met or knew each other I can see that happening.

Bill: Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana, Olivelawn. No mention of Snoop or his crew. Regarding other shows there is no mention of Snoop being on the same bill as Nirvana or Kurt. There is a possibility they could have met in passing at the 1993 VMA's, but I don't believe it happened. If Snoop lies about the big things I wouldn't trust him with the small stuff. There is plenty of pictures and video of Kurt at the VMA's. Photos with Peter Gabriel, Sinead O'Connor, some of the Aerosmith guys, Ru Paul etc. No Snoop in sight. There is a photo with Snoop and Dre in a photo with Kurt circa 1993 doing the rounds on the internet, but that is a proven to be a fake. If you do have any proof or fact that they met or hung out, I would honestly be interested to know, but unfortunately for Snoop, he is talking out of his ass on this one.
