Fun fact: When any character’s elemental burst is ready, their visions glow, and when you switch to another character who’s elemental burst is ready, their vision glows with the symbol of their vision for a few seconds
Yes! Also I noticed that whenever you switch to a character when their burst is ready, it makes some sort of a hardly noticeable "boop" sound. When you switch to a character with an unfinished burst, that sound doesn't play, instead there's just a regular character switch sound. Credits to my laggy laptop that refuses to play the music sometimes, that's how I found out about this.
@@ArgyrossssX Not exactly a boop but with respective sounds for example like electro, it will make a zap sound when your elemental burst is ready, for anemo its the wind blowing, for cryo its the freezing sound, for geo its hardened rock sound and etc

17:03 so you’re basically saying Noelle and Xinyan can effortlessly one hand claymores at a really awkward angle, effectively making them the physical strongest characters in the game
I mean, Noelle is canonically strong as hell, probably the strongest amongst all the playable human characters. Girl almost drove the poor blacksmith to tears because she kept accidentally breaking every weapon he handed her, the claymore is the only one that doesn't get smashed to smithereens. Her morning training routine is also absolutely bonkers ("100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and running two laps around Monstadt"). It's one of the reason why some (many?) of us Noelle mains jokingly call her the "One Punch Maid" (reference to Saitama from One Punch Man).

I think they hold it properly when swinging, just when holding it idly they don't grip it fully with their right hand. The open hand would still support the weight just as well. Some people just hold two-handed weapons this way when idle to let one hand rest.
@@ClaireCrowles She was even breaking claymores. Wagner had to make a custom claymore, AND Noelle has to reinforce it with her Geo Vision power and that only barely solves the problem, otherwise she'd break the custom claymore too.
I think that's how her burst works, applying Geo to her sword so she can finally go full power, but it's temporary.
I think that's just the claymore stance for medium females in Genshin. Since the only people who did that are medium females (In model terms)
It's probably a reach but kaeya and bennet having a similar moveset indicates that kaeya taught bennet swordmanship, and the difference on the last move of the combo indicates the difference of their mastery of the swordmanship
or perhaps the point where Bennet's luck made Kaeya give up on teaching him

@kollie79 actually when looking at their weapons when viewing characters, everyone but Childe holds their bow in their right hand while he is the only one that will hold it in his left when looking at his weapon. And his strongest normal attack is when he yeets the arrow with his left hand.
@kollie79 I'm fully aware that Childe uses the bow cause he sucks, in fact that's probably the only reason why your character is even able to beat him in fight (if you were actually locked behind using the Traveler and couldn't use an OP ass Team or bullshit MC plot armor). And knowing Childe's character background, I doubt that man even HAS a weaker hand. And even if he did, if you're telling me his weaker hand does the most damage from his normal arrow attacks by simply chucking it, that speaks volumes about how crazy strong he is based off his in game lore.

Adding on to Kaeya's vision: this one is a little harder to see, but on the back of his vision, there are two smaller wings. When compared to other characters from Mondstadt, his back wings are reversed from all other characters. The best way I was able to see this was by using Amber as a comparison.
The same symbol on albedos chest and Dainsleif’s and Kaeya’s eyes can also be seen around the travelers element thing in the character menu
Which is also seen on the Unknown God's cubes as stated by another commenter, leading to my question: What if Teyvat was the twins original home world(specifically Khaenri'ah) but if they ran away at such a young age from their mother(the Unknown God) that when they returned, they simply thought it was a new world? And that's why the Unknown God tried to prevent them from leaving again as well as why the Abyssal Twin is so nonchalant when it comes to finding the Traveler or leaving Teyvat... yeah I need to go to bed😅

I feel like Xinyan and Noelle's use of an open palm with one hand when resting the blade after using can be explained by what they do when not fighting.
Noelle, as a knightly maid, has many different tasks that require her to ensure she doesn't put pressure on her hands and fingers if needed, so by using an open palm, she is letting her fingers rest, putting the actual pressure on the palm.
Xinyan, on her end, is a musician who uses a guitar. The strings are already rather rough on their own, so musicians always need to be on the lookout for their fingers.
7:23 you almost have it! The way you sheath a Japanese sword depends on what kind of sword you are using. When using uchigatana, you sheath it upwards, however, when using tachi, you do the opposite due to the different purpose of the blade.

I think Klee only rolls easier compared to other small characters is because I think you have Lost Prayer on her. Lost Prayer increase movement speed, thats why when having 2 winds in the team made it easier for the smaller characters to roll

On Ganyu's difference on contracts timeline: It's entirely probable she being contracted _twice,_ first as soldiers during Archon War, and then re-contracted as Liyue Harbor protector post-war.
Fun fact: In windblume, Kaeya said that Diluc should start selling some snacks in his bar, because Kaeya's mouth "feels lonely" [hopefully translated that well from Chinese] and Diluc actually did! Also, there is a sign [at Dawn Winery I think?] which describes how Diluc feels about Kaeya - that he misses the old days they would spend together with Dilucs dad.
Another fun fact is: huge amount of mistranslations in the game from Chinese to English [not only in game, but also in the Manga] which should be fixed, so westerners don't misunderstand the relationship between Kaeya and Diluc.
In Chinese, Japanese and Korean, their relationship is more of an that Kaeya is teasing Diluc while almost flirting with him and doesn't indicate hate towards one another, whilst in the English, it makes Diluc seem cold towards Kaeya and players make it up to say they hate each other when they don't.
Fun fact: That same star that can be seen in Albedo's neck, and Kaeya and Dain's eyes, can also be seen in the Unkown god's cubes.

Fun fact: when samurais "flick the blood off their blades" there is some truth. But not entirely correct. To keep it simple, there is a pin that holds the blade and the handle together if I'm correct, and after a cut or decapitation, they do that little flick to test the strength of the pin.
But I love the idea of flicking blood off the blade.
another little detail: when you switch to a character that has an elemental burst charged, a symbol of their vision flashes over their actual vision, and the vision itself will glow and dim periodically.
also after finishing her normal attack chain, Eula flicks her hair back with her hand as she goes back into idle stance.

I think for the way Xinyan and Noelle hold their claymores it kinda makes sense since Xinyan is a musician it’s often a habit to hold it carefully without gripping too hard and messing the instrument up, with Noelle though she is probably trying to conceal her inner Saitama since it’s mentioned Wagner created a claymore for Noelle since she kept breaking all the swords he made due to her strength.

Fun fact: At the end of the spin on Kazuha’s burst, you can notice he gives an extra shake to his sword before putting it away. This is a nod to an actual gesture/move samurais are trained to do before putting the swords back in their hilts. Some say it is to shake off blood from slashing enemies, but the actual purpose is to check if the dowel holding the blade to the hilt isn’t broken or damaged. The swing helps them feel for shake in the sword and know wether they can continue using it in battle should they soon have to take out their swords again. Neat detail.
14:58 I compared Childe with them after seeing this, and he too has a different "circle" icon. He has the harbingers symbols on his, instead of the dragon/boat(Liyue) or wolf/Dvalin(Mondstadt).
Edit: Although I'm unsure of exactly which attack this is for each character, in both Kaeya and Sayu's normal attacks(beyond 3rd I think) they disappear momentarily. Some think this happens with Kaeya because of his relationship to Abyss mages who also disappear, while Sayu is a ninja.
in Childe's case that might just be because he's a very early Snezhnaya character. it's possible that all Snezhnayans will have that circle.

Chongyun having light colored eyelashes is such great character design. It makes him look both etheral (which fits someone who works with spirits) and kind of sickly (fitting considering his yang energy condition). Also its just pretty :)

@@lysfranc8782 that’s actually closer to the truth than you probably realize. Albedo was created by Gold, a Khaenrian alchemist, to continue his legacy and find the truth of the world. Chill With Aster has a great video explaining his and Khaenriah’s lore if you’re interested.

I think Eula’s namecard truly resembles her. The Glacial Seal is shadowed, likely resembling how she left the Lawrence Clan, while the Knights of Favonius symbol is lightened up. It shows how she once was an aristocratic, but left, and now feels much better as a knight.

- if you put Raiden in the Tea Pot before completing the main Inazuma story quest, she won't say anything to you.
(or says she won't talk to you, was unclear.)
- after completing the main Inazuma story quest she'll talk to you normally.
can confirm, also some of the voice over options are replaced by Ei rather than the shogun once the story quest is completed

Kazuha was a trained Samurai due to his family's tradition or whatever it was, and he is currently an Inazuman Wanted Samurai for fleeing the nation, and he was taken upon Beidou's ship as a wandering samurai.
Ayaka is well trained as a swordswoman, and its shown in one of her trailers. She spars with Thoma or something along those lines.

Venti and Zhongli's constellations end in 'dei', and while both Venti, Zhongli, and Raiden Shogun's constellations feature depictions of themselves, Raiden's constellation is Imperatrix Umbrosa, either because she is not the original electro archon to have emerged victorious as one of the Seven at the end of the Archon War, or (spoilers) because her twin, Makoto as the 'main' goddess, carried the Dei constellation instead.
i think they both are twin archon. Makoto is the face of Inazuma meanwhile Ei is the one who protects Inazuma because Makoto is terrible figther.
They are both victors of the archon war, Ei does the fighting and be in the background while her sister is the public figure. No one knows but the seven themselves (which kinda makes it the eight).
*SPOILER* The Raiden Shogun we see leading Inazuma is a puppet made by the real Raiden Shogun Ei (Her name is Beelzebul) who stays in her plane of Euthymia meditating about Eternity.
Ei's Twin Sister was called Baal her name was Raiden Makoto and more than likely than one who had the "dei" constellation and Inazuma's Archon.
After the Cataclysm Baal, died and Raiden Shogun Ei took over under the Baal Moniker (easy enough they were twins).
Raiden Shogun Ei also created two dolls as part of her Eternity concept. The first one the prototype, wandered aimlessly until the Fatui corrupted it. This is Scaramouche. Afterwards she finished the second doll, which is the Acting ruler of Inazuma. Ei merely transfers her conciousness (from her Plane of Euthymia) to the doll of Ei when she wants to interact with her people of Inazuma. Complete Part 2 of the Electro Archon Quest in game for this lore. Though she personally leaves the Plane of Euthymia during her Character quest when the doll acts up.
The Cataclysm was the destruction of the underground nation of Khaenri'ah at the hands of Celestia and The Seven around 500 years ago.
The Archon war was around 2000 years ago.
I think both Ei and Makoto have “ dei “ in their cons and Raiden does not because she’s not an actual god, she’s a puppet with power equal to Ei’s. Ei and Raiden are two separate people with different personalities even tho they look the same.
I think it's because what we play is not Raiden Ei, but the Khaen'riah construct.

I'm wondering if the Ganyu two thousand/three thousand year contract was actually a typo, or if it was intentional. There might even be two separate contracts, one from three thousand years ago, which is in her character profile and the one she decides to keep a secret from the Traveler, and another one after the archon war, which is two thousand years ago, which would be the one she tells the Traveler about.
While I was playing on my friend’s account I was using zhongli and throughout the beginning of the quest, when the traveler didn’t know zhongli was liyue’s archon on his profile it said he had a Geo vision. Later on when we find out he’s Morax, his profile will change to say ‘Geo gnosis’ which I think is very nice detail (this is also the same with venti) ~!

One thing I noticed about Sayu is that her hood is a tanuki hood, and I believe her constellation translates to tanuki. She also has a leaf on her head which tanuki have (as well as tom nook).
Another thing is that yokai put leaves on their heads to make themselves look like humans, and tanuki were considered yokai back then.
Except according to Sayu, her hood is NOT based on a tanuki, but a mujina, a type of badger.
I'm pretty sure no one noticed this like ever, but when I was fooling around in a page with all characters designs (clothes, accessories etc) I flipped Childe's Vision and on the other side there was a Fatui symbol and that side was red instead of blue

Well either mihoyo made a mistake on that ganyu one or it was intentional. If ganyu is so forgetful and tells you the Character story and In that cutscene she could've forgot if it was 2 thousand or 3 thousand years ago. If she is forgetful i think mihoyo puts in so much effort into these characters that they act the same anywhere, even in their own story they're forgetful, hehe
Oh and, even if it wasn't ganyu telling her story. It still is possible that she forgot when she told us after singing to the glaze lilies
I think all the original 7 had constellations ending in “Dei” cause Zhongli’s is Lapis Dei and Venti’s is Carmen Dei, whereas the Raiden Shogun has something different. That’s just a small thing I noticed lol
I just wanna add and give a view on some things, correct me though
-Amber and Fish also have the same attack animation, just amber without the exotic gestures
-Raiden ignores def but doesn't decrease (as a debuff) def
-I don't think comparing Xinyan and Noelle with other models is not good since they're classified as medium female model.
-for the vision placements, I think xinyans and diona can also be categorized as unique, since Diona puts it in a mixing bottle and Xinyan put it in a bongo
-Venti also changes from vision to gnosis
The diluc one reminded me of that time that he got hammered by a snezhnaya branded wine (it was kinda like a celebration of collaboration or something like that)
Man passed out for a good day or so. Keep in mind that the drink he drank was notably the strongest alcohol from snezhnaya, and that he drank it as a sign of brotherhood.
Neatless to say that he cancelled the collaboration afterwards.

Ganyu have 2 contracts with Morax: one during the war, one after the war, which she clearly stated that she sign the 2nd to work for the Qixing. The first one maybe like Azhdaha: always loyal to Rex Lapis, do not harm the innocent mortal, etc…

the most important thing that gacha brought me is superbly immersive characters. I love this game for it so much, I can spend up to 2 hours just listening to voice lines of every character to get to know them better
