I believe the teams picking 1 through 4 passed on Demidov. I think that each team knows what they need when going into a draft. It's absolutely ridiculous to condemn a team for picking a player that they believe fits their plan as opposed to another when neither play has played a game in the NHL. We won't know the answer for several years. I wish both players the very best careers possible.
Who the hell knows what the Blackhawks are doing now a days they are going to ruin Bedard who the hell is he suppose to play with all they have are 3 or 4th liners maybe if they are lucky a second liner with him he is no where near being set up to succeed.
Well, usually, the point of rebuilding through the draft is that you expect your draft picks to develop and then step in when they're ready. Recently, Bedard has been doing better with Nazar on his line (a draft pick). And there's Nick Lardis becoming the first OHL player to reach over 40 goals in one season. Sam Rinzel is a contender (and most likely winner) of the Hobey Baker award this season. Korchinski and Levshunov are doing okay developing in the AHL. Korch should've been there last season, but CHL rules forbid it, so he went straight to the NHL. He'll be up regularly next season, and Levshunov is about a year or so away. Colton Dach has looked like an incredibly hard worker who's hungry to score. Oh yeah, we also got a Russian prospect Roman Kansterov who's lighting up the KHL. The Hawks and Bedard will be fine, lol. People have no patience nowadays, istg
I still can't believe we got Demidov, what a talent!!
We have a lot of great elite prospects! Jacob Fowler is another one. Right now, the Habs have 2 rookie scoring leaders. No other team has two. 😁
We shall see as a 76 year old Blackhawks fan’s since the 1950 s,this sure ain’t the first time I have heard this!
NIKITA ZADOROV sounds like he wants to go to Montreal to help Demidov adjust and help Hutson play better defense
Relax😂
...and who could blame him?
Zadorov with Xhekaj 😨
I actually suggested that if zadorov became available , that guy doesn’t back down . Habs would become a very tough team to play against
Zadorov would be awesome with the habs
By the end of next season the Sharks might regret not taking Demidov.

Players know players,nuff said!
Hi lego im here. I chat on ur post on twitter you find me weird. But I love Zadorov, Xhekaj becomes like him
So he's saying basically what all Hawks and Habs fans are saying. Also, id say fair enough on the Hutson comment about defense.
Hutson Jersey check, Demidov 91 coming soon, just need to confirm number lol
Kapanen is making it hard
Imo not only Chicago made a mistake but so did the other 2 teams who passed on him, Anaheim and Columbus.
just in case nobody told you before ... properly pronounced it is "e-van" demidov, not "eye-van"
go habs go
