Thank you so much!!! My attachment was completely stuck, which I learned when I made a smoothie that then tasted like smoke. I put the oil on like the video said on Monday night. Every so often I’d try to turn the bottom to help get it moving. After two days it still wasn’t budging. I liberally dripped more oil on the blade assembly and waited overnight again. It’s now spinning freely and I just made a smoothie! 🙌🏻
Side note: last weekend I fixed the knob on my bathtub spout diverter (the thing you pull to make the water go to the shower instead of the tub) with olive oil kitchen spray. Olive oil to the rescue!

You can reduce time to 1-2 minutes. Fill cap with oil and keep it up straight and ready to screw on container. Fill container with hot air(hold few seconds on safe distance over something hot, stove, steam from boiling kettle) and than close lid very tight immediately. Air inside container start quickly cool and it creates vacuum and sucking oil under pressure thru the gaps in bearing, which speeds up all process of getting oil in to bearings. Heating oil a little also helps, as it become more thin.

absolute cracking video! I was the same, thought the motor on my nutri ninja was stuffed as it had started making a terrible grinding sound lately and the speed fluctuated as well. I applied olive oil and even after an hour i could see that the blade was spinning a lot more freely. left it over night anyway and it's basically back to perfect. Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much. I was looking for a new blender and found your video. I have a Nutra Ninja and a pop babies blender. The Ninja blades were smoking and getting very hot. The pop babies had completely siezed up. I left the oil soaking for 24 hours on my Ninja. Turning the blades periodically. Since the pop babies blades were siezed, I left the oil on to soak for 72 hours. Once the blade began to move again, I would turn it as often as possible. Now both my blenders work again. 😀 So happy.

I tried this but it won’t worked for me? I left it overnight for the first time and now I am trying it again. Let’s see if it works this time. But the best part of the video is that it drew my attention to the blade bearing and I confirmed by running motor without putting blade attachment. I have Ninja professional. Blender blades are running and chopping fine but the noise is irresistible. Great video by the way and I agree with @Ramtoo Education the video won’t show in top 5. May be you need to change the title of the video.

@@Pam_HRL I have the BL450-30. There are little hidden springs on the top, beneath the rim, and to the right of the slots that the cup tabs sit in. They are immediately to the right of each rectangular slot. You won't see them unless you really look closely, because they are hidden by the top rim of the motor base. Mine were frozen in place. I had to put hot wet paper towels on them to melt the food residue. Then I lubricated them with silicone spray. There is no food contact with them, so I would not get silicone in my smoothie.

@@SaveGreenHere Is that info in the instructions of this product? Why would any company sell you a jumbo jet with instructions that you should get from the net?

Because the companies want you to buy a new machine from them, instead of doing something so simple to make it work like new. But if you have the money for it, just buy a new one..... amzn.to/3sw0UXA
