2k did a reverse EA, instead of bareboning the current gen they revamped it. You have multiple modes to play and some new ones. But they've scrapped the old gen which I have no problem with. It's old, it's reached its peak

It is the death of this game and many sports games made by EA, but EA is a company looking to profit, they are not solely to blame here. Everyone who has spent $1 or more on this pathetic game mode is enabling EA to produce worse games with less content yet become more profitable. HUT is nothing but a cash grab, since they have now even REMOVED THE SALARY CAP there is ZERO COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE, it could be called BuyAnAdvantage mode or YouNeedToPayMoreToCompete. It's pathetic, and everyone supporting it needs to wake up, you are enabling EA to destroy the NHL franchise, and the competitive landscape of online gaming. Just look at EANHL's twitter feed, look how many tweets are about HUT, at least 90%. Legends were just added to HUT, yet the game is missing 90% of the others features and game modes that were in NHL13 and NHL14! NHL video games died this year, NHL15 is HUT15, with horrible AI to boot.
It isn't as much of a cash grab and honestly I can think of worse examples. I played on this Minecraft server two years ago and it was a pure cash-grabber and here is why. This server had hunger games and the games always filled up in a hurry BUT donors were able to kick out non-donors or lower ranked donors. There was a point where the server was so popular, nobody that wasn't a donor could play hunger games because there were so many donors.
I agree with 100% of what you said, and further more, if EA cant make enough money off of the profit margin of their games, then lower the price or make better versions
d4v1dfor3v3r I can't comment on Minecraft as I've never played it. But Ultimate team is indeed a cash grab. Is it the worst in the industry? I have no idea, but the worst I have seen by far. Everything about the mode is constructed around encouraging the purchase of packs of virtual hockey cards while the care of game quality and competitive landscape is nonexistent. All this obviously while ignoring the other dozen game modes which we had in previous games but were omitted this year in favor of Pay2Play, I mean HUT.
Joe Doe I'm talking about a hunger games server. Basically there is a lobby for the games and to get in you have to right-click on a sign that says "open game" but at the same time there are like 40 people doing it at the same time and 30 of them are probably donors and donors are able to kick non-donors out of games. I have never played HUT but I can tell that in NHL 13 it was a pure cash grab but now the $60 player can actually do something. Now it isn't a complete Pay2Play but it was a few years ago.
I do not understand why you say that. Can you play without paying extra? Sure. But competing for the league title provides no competitive landscape for the person who doesn't themselves purchase DLC, especially now since they removed the salary cap, encouraging and allowing people to essentially buy wins. Maybe you are not understanding, as you said, you haven't played HUT. To make myself clear, yes, you can play, yes you can beat even the people who buy an advantage if your skill it that much better. However, the deck is stacked against you and you will lose to many games to people with lower skill who purchase an advantage if you do not do the same.

The one thing I disagree with a lot is the part where you say that HUT isn't the most popular game mode because of the number or games played compared to EASHL and the number of people playing. The thing is that I think a lot of people notice is that probably 50%+ of people that play HUT don't even play games. They sit on the menu's and work the market or open packs
Just want to say, loved the HELL out of this video. Don't know much about any of these people hating on you, or the reasons behind it. But the fact that you aren't scared to speak your mind, EVEN IF EA has helped you do whatever, you have the balls to make a truthful video about how you feel about their game. Full props to you for that, dude! They need to hear their game has problems, or else they're just going to keep making crap games because WE'RE all accepting them without any recoil or flak from the community. I have not purchased an NHL game in awhile (NHL 15 being my first in that while), and when I've been told by friends/videos I've watched and info on the net, all the things they left out of this game, I was baffled and shocked. Also, then kind of upset that I've bought one of EA's crap games (one of the many). Everyone should know by now, EA is just a money hungry company that sells mediocre games and doesn't use full revenue or even close to develop and produce the games. When I watched the part of the video where it showed the offsides between games, wow, just wow, lol... Had I not forgotten EA's terrible busy practices, and been coaxed into buying the game because of a friend in the line for Destiny that night, I'd probably never have bought this game and been happy doing so. I enjoy HUT, but man, I feel like I'd enjoy the game SO much more if the broken things in the game were fixed, and MAYBE they included things they did in the past. Nhl has the smallest dev group of all the sports games, and games such as fifa and football didn't need large graphic changes. Nhl did, this game was a dev copy, core game with no features.

As someone who absolutely hates current gen NHL I really enjoyed these 2 videos. I understand the points the other youtubers were trying to make (in a way) but for whatever reason its become popular to hate on you among a group of NHL youtubers which doesnt make sense to me. Hopefully the Vancouver committee is the first step towards EA picking up the ball and releasing a game with fun gameplay for versus, HUT, and EASHL.
Why has this become a war? I mean we all want a good hockey game. I'm from germany and I have way less opportunities to get an influence to this game. I like the gameplay (just like BaconCountry does). We all know that there is a lack of game modes. But We should be one community, not the HUT, EASHL, GM-Mode,... community. And I think we should be a bit more objective. Every time I read FB or Twitter comments on EA-Sports NHL posts/tweets I really don't get how some people can write some comments. It's all about "mimimi" (just like an infant) but it should be a comment like "I don't like..... please do...." or just participate in the forums.
I don't get why people think he is so unsocial because he doesn't play with other NHL youtubers. He still plays with fans and still reads most comments, which is even demonstrated in this video. Just because he focuses on his fans who make his living instead of youtubers doesn't mean he isn't social. Besides, Bacon use playstation and Johnny uses Xbox so they can't make a collab.

Johnny, I am with you on this one. At the beginning when NHL was released you were looking for positive things in the game, you gave it a fair chance. And what were the users reactions? "Stop brown noseing EA!" "How can you promote a piece of s*** like this?" Now, two months in, you are in the position to call the game trash, because it's simply that - TRASH! You state very good examples of why you think it is a bad game and it doesn't matter if EA or Jesus himself gave you the game a week earlier. It's your responsibility to keep us informed - that is what EA wants you to do, that's why they "hired" you. And now everybody's like "How can you do this to EA?" "Without EA you would be NOTHING, be grateful!" Why should he? It's not EA who made him big - it's us! The world has been waiting to see this. NHL 2K and iOS on I pad is like NHL 14 with lower graphics. They added be a pro with the skip to next shift. Mini rink. Season made not GM mode but still good, shootout and online shootout. There was never a thought that NHL 2K would be as good as it is on IOS! I fucking love you Jonny! IOS is better than NHL 15 because it's only $7.
Johnny, I've watched you since I don't even know how long. You helped me get through my HS boredom by providing me with endless entertainment. One of the main reasons why I watch your videos is because, as you said, you always tell the truth and you're not afraid to speak your opinion. Despite EA "hooking you up" by giving you their game a week or two in advance, you're not shy in telling it as it is. Do you benefit from EA using you to promote their game, yes absolutely. But that is like getting the questions to an exam before the test and using them to study. It would be stupid not to take advantage of it. That is exactly what Johnny is doing here. He helped EA out with tutorials, and now Johnny is simply using that to his advantage. Good for you Johnny! NHL 15 for Xbox One/PS4 is an absolute disaster of a game (for all the reasons mentioned previously). There is no excuse after not immediately putting NHL 14 on next gen. Was it the right move... absolutely. But after playing NHL 15 it is clear that they did not take advantage of the time they had to optimize this game. The game looks beautiful, and it is a great foundation, however, that is all it is... a foundation. Hoping for the best next year for NHL 16
The NHL games won't get as much hype like games like Minecraft or Call of Duty unless if the popularity of hockey explodes. One suggestion I would make to EA is to utilize the Xbox Kinect and the PS Move. Think about playing goalie using the Kinect/Move, that would make the series so much better.
Crazy how a simple game can cause so much anger. I know for a fact I will buy the game until they stop making it. Yes, this is the worst NHL they have put out to date but i still enjoy the game because i love the game of hockey. The thrill of players, stats,goals, and cellys is what is going to keep people buying this game for years to come. If 2k puts out an NHL thats better then EAs you know Im buying it, but im always going to have to own a hockey game just to settle the craving of hockey. Why hate on a guy like johnny when he is just bringing us entertaining videos daily. He just put out a review forcing EA to at least take a step back and look at the product they gave us. It takes guts to expose flaws in a game that helps support you in real life, hockey fans voicing their opinion on NHL are what is going to hopefully motivate EA to make the NHL games better,otherwise they are gonna lose lots of money
I agree with the Minecraft - NHL 15 comparison you made. I play Minecraft, it is one of my favorite games and it plays WAY better than the Xbox ONE/PS4 version of NHL 15 BUT it looks a lot worse (unless if you have installed a resource pack).
I used to play NHL games all the time but NHL 15 has really got me bored and I don't play as much anymore it's so bad. GM Mode seems so bland and somewhat boring as well and the screen really lags. I just can't believe that I went to the midnight release for this game to be just disappointed. I won't be getting NHL 16 right away. I will come straight here to see how it really is. I won't fall for EA's scam again. Anyone else agree?
EA in general focuses on presentation. Madden just recently got a major upgrade to gameplay. EA is the monopoly of sports games. They have no competition and it hurts the product. They always focus on the presentation and trying to deliver the game day experience, from the sense of sitting on a couch. They stopped focusing on gameplay and enjoyable game modes. The entire reason to play the game, and be a part of the experience, instead of just watching it on TV.
I tend to agree with a lot of your opinions. I find myself especially agreeing with your response to flash. He pointed out flaws in an unprofessional manner. Especially the part about meeting with the developers. I saw a lot of moot points from the comments, and I think you handled them very well. Regarding the last comment. Even though you added the part about the hold the line animation I have noticed that there has been a significant decrease in offsides. I wonder if the AI takes less speed into the neutral zone, but there is a significant lack of offsides in NHL15 as opposed to NHL14. I know offsides still happens in the game, it isn't your fault, and that's frustrating. That's hockey though. When offsides occurs in hockey it generally isn't the puck carriers fault. I don't think that EA should lessen the rate below what you would see in a normal hockey game also, it's part of hockey.

EA Sports, which is the developer (the people who actually make the game like Rammer) answers to EA, the publisher, who has the final say in everything about EA Sports. EVERYTHING. Number of employees, money flow, development time, game content. What it boils down to is that EA (the publisher) didn't give enough time or resources (money/employees) to EA Sports (the developer) in order to make a decent game and EA (the publisher) was just interested in making a quick buck, as evidenced by the inclusion of HUT and basically nothing else. If anything, boycott any EA-published title going forward until they produce a product worth buying. Also, good job Johnny on seeing through EA's PR bullshit to try and wow you and get you to write a good review. Don't let them get off easy by pulling some PR favors, but shipping a shitty game and expecting no bad rep.

Johnny... I agree with you on your review of the NHL 15 on next gen. I know the AI is bad and all that other shit... But I think and I believe many people agree that it takes out the fun in some of your videos ( especially HUT gameplay videos ) when you constantly complain about the AI... Could you maybe focus on commenting like the players you play with how they have done on the current season, or how your opponents play or your predictions on teams and those kind of things. i feel like i have to voice my opinion, i'd just like to start off by saying Johnny i love your videos & for those of you reading this i'm well aware my spelling isn't the best. anyways up until i saw your quick review video i actually really thought that NHL15 was a good game, but i actually agree with everything you say, although i still play the game (on Next Gen). in my opinion HUT is a really enjoyable game mode, i love the whole concept of it, BUT i'm well aware that HUT is EA's way of making more money, its obvious in NHL 14 they would have a promo pack on long weekends, holidays, whatever. but on NHL15 its every other f*****g day. they were aware they were going to lose sales because NHL15 wasn't even a full finished game, you made a list of all of the gamemodes and extra things they left out (ex. GM Draft). EA CHOSE to put HUT in NHL15 over EASHL because HUT can make them waaaay more money then EASHL can. EA Sports can be considered one of the best / most known gaming company, they have been around way to long for you people to really think "they couldn't figure out EASHL" for NHL15. In my opinion i truly believe that EA is aware of the fact NHL15 is a unfinished game, look at the things they've added into the game with updates, little things like 3 stars of the game, to game modes such as OTP and Playoff mode. All and all i really think NHL 15 (Next Gen) is a good building block for NHL games in the future, but they really showed there fans that if it comes down to it, they will do what it takes to get money.

I think a better comparison than Minecraft would be say, the NBA 2k or the FIFA series, they have great presentation AND great gameplay, as sports games, proving that you don't have to choose between one or the other
Love the review. I want to take this opportunity to denounce how EA official NHL forums will delete and ban all similar complaints to this one despite them being truthful while allowing abusive community members (including the mods themselves) to bully, troll and harass anyone who has a negative opinion on the game regardless of how constructive the opinion is. Probably a lot of the same abusive mods and protected regulars on the nhl forums trying to generate hate momentum here too. Mostly people who get the game for free.
I understand how frustated you are with offsides mistakes, but I think that if you watch hockey (I know you do) offsides happens sometimes. Maybe not stupid as in the video, but there are mistakes in real hockey game.Some hockey games before had no offsides intergrated in the game. (Not hating)

I agree on everything you've brought up in your quick review. I was superexcited for the newgen-version and i were going to buy the xbox one just because of my love for the NHL series. But luckily you and others were quick enough to point out what the newgen-version were missing. Game modes like EASHL and Live the life is either ruined or taken out from the game. Im gonna buy the 360-version for sure!
The presentation upgrade from NHL 14 to NHL 15 was a mandatory upgrade for the NHL series. If NHL 15 next gen looked the same as NHL 14 you'd all be complaining on how it looks the same. The presentation upgrade was going to take a full year of production anyways, might as well happen on the first next gen game. I'm fine with the game as it is and I'm sure NHL 16 will be great.
I don't understand his reply to "it might seem late but I only play GM mode". The next generation version has GM mode, so why go back to last gens bad graphics?

Johnny I bought a PS4 JUST for NHL 15 (with my own money) thinking about things they will add. It was a bad move I can't play games online because of the internet where I live. But thinking now I should have just bought the game on my 360 instead and save my lawn mowing money. Highly disappointed in EA but hoping for the best
I may not agree with everything you said, but overall you're right, ea completely dropped the ball, when next gen was released they said they weren't going to release NHL 14 on next gen because they wanted to make 15 the good one designed for next gen, mission failed, I really hope 2k comes back for NHL, NBA 2K is a very good game, and it has the potential to make ea start caring a little more about customer satisfaction.

I only play NHL for the be a pro mode nowadays and I am happy that I didn't buy a new console just for the new and much improved game because I would've been super disappointed ESPECIALLY since the last NHL I bought was NHL 10 and looking at various reviews of the next gen game I think that game (which is 5 god damn years ago!!) seems better in that department...

HUT is nothing but a cash grab, since they have now even REMOVED THE SALARY CAP there is ZERO COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE, it could be called BuyAnAdvantage mode or YouNeedToPayMoreToCompete. It's pathetic, and everyone supporting it needs to wake up, you are enabling EA to destroy the NHL franchise, and the competitive landscape of online gaming. Just look at EANHL's twitter feed, look how many tweets are about HUT, at least 90%. Legends were just added to HUT, yet the game is missing 90% of the others features and game modes that were in NHL13 and NHL14! NHL video games died this year, NHL15 is HUT15, with horrible AI to boot.
It isn't as much of a cash grab and honestly I can think of worse examples. I played on this Minecraft server two years ago and it was a pure cash-grabber and here is why. This server had hunger games and the games always filled up in a hurry BUT donors were able to kick out non-donors or lower ranked donors. There was a point where the server was so popular, nobody that wasn't a donor could play hunger games because there were so many donors.

Everything about the mode is constructed around encouraging the purchase of packs of virtual hockey cards while the care of game quality and competitive landscape is nonexistent. All this obviously while ignoring the other dozen game modes which we had in previous games but were omitted this year in favor of Pay2Play, I mean HUT.
Joe Doe I'm talking about a hunger games server. Basically there is a lobby for the games and to get in you have to right-click on a sign that says "open game" but at the same time there are like 40 people doing it at the same time and 30 of them are probably donors and donors are able to kick non-donors out of games. I have never played HUT but I can tell that in NHL 13 it was a pure cash grab but now the $60 player can actually do something. Now it isn't a complete Pay2Play but it was a few years ago.
I do not understand why you say that. Can you play without paying extra? Sure. But competing for the league title provides no competitive landscape for the person who doesn't themselves purchase DLC, especially now since they removed the salary cap, encouraging and allowing people to essentially buy wins. Maybe you are not understanding, as you said, you haven't played HUT.
To make myself clear, yes, you can play, yes you can beat even the people who buy an advantage if your skill it that much better. However, the deck is stacked against you and you will lose to many games to people with lower skill who purchase an advantage if you do not do the same.

The one thing I disagree with a lot is the part where you say that HUT isn't the most popular game mode because of the number or games played compared to EASHL and the number of people playing. The thing is that I think a lot of people notice is that probably 50%+ of people that play HUT don't even play games. They sit on the menu's and work the market or open packs

I have not purchased an NHL game in awhile (NHL 15 being my first in that while), and when I've been told by friends/videos I've watched and info on the net, all the things they left out of this game, I was baffled and shocked. Also, then kind of upset that I've bought one of EA's crap games (one of the many). Everyone should know by now, EA is just a money hungry company that sells mediocre games and doesn't use full revenue or even close to develop and produce the games. When I watched the part of the video where it showed the offsides between games, wow, just wow, lol...
Had I not forgotten EA's terrible busy practices, and been coaxed into buying the game because of a friend in the line for Destiny that night, I'd probably never have bought this game and been happy doing so.
I enjoy HUT, but man, I feel like I'd enjoy the game SO much more if the broken things in the game were fixed, and MAYBE they included things they did in the past.

As someone who absolutely hates current gen NHL I really enjoyed these 2 videos.
I understand the points the other youtubers were trying to make (in a way) but for whatever reason its become popular to hate on you among a group of NHL youtubers which doesnt make sense to me.
Hopefully the Vancouver committee is the first step towards EA picking up the ball and releasing a game with fun gameplay for versus, HUT, and EASHL.

I like the gameplay (just like BaconCountry does).
We all know that there is a lack of game modes.
But We should be one community, not the HUT, EASHL, GM-Mode,... community.
And I think we should be a bit more objective. Every time I read FB or Twitter comments on EA-Sports NHL posts/tweets I really don't get how some people can write some comments. It's all about "mimimi" (just like an infant) but it should be a comment like "I don't like..... please do...." or just participate in the forums.

The world has been waiting to see this. NHL 2K and iOS on I pad is like NHL 14 with lower graphics. They added be a pro with the skip to next shift. Mini rink. Season made not GM mode but still good, shootout and online shootout. There was never a thought that NHL 2K would be as good as it is on IOS!

I've watched you since I don't even know how long. You helped me get through my HS boredom by providing me with endless entertainment. One of the main reasons why I watch your videos is because, as you said, you always tell the truth and you're not afraid to speak your opinion. Despite EA "hooking you up" by giving you their game a week or two in advance, you're not shy in telling it as it is. Do you benefit from EA using you to promote their game, yes absolutely. But that is like getting the questions to an exam before the test and using them to study. It would be stupid not to take advantage of it. That is exactly what Johnny is doing here. He helped EA out with tutorials, and now Johnny is simply using that to his advantage. Good for you Johnny!
NHL 15 for Xbox One/PS4 is an absolute disaster of a game (for all the reasons mentioned previously). There is no excuse after not immediately putting NHL 14 on next gen. Was it the right move... absolutely. But after playing NHL 15 it is clear that they did not take advantage of the time they had to optimize this game. The game looks beautiful, and it is a great foundation, however, that is all it is... a foundation. Hoping for the best next year for NHL 16
The NHL games won't get as much hype like games like Minecraft or Call of Duty unless if the popularity of hockey explodes. One suggestion I would make to EA is to utilize the Xbox Kinect and the PS Move. Think about playing goalie using the Kinect/Move, that would make the series so much better.
Crazy how a simple game can cause so much anger. I know for a fact I will buy the game until they stop making it. Yes, this is the worst NHL they have put out to date but i still enjoy the game because i love the game of hockey. The thrill of players, stats,goals, and cellys is what is going to keep people buying this game for years to come. If 2k puts out an NHL thats better then EAs you know Im buying it, but im always going to have to own a hockey game just to settle the craving of hockey. Why hate on a guy like johnny when he is just bringing us entertaining videos daily. He just put out a review forcing EA to at least take a step back and look at the product they gave us. I agree with the Minecraft - NHL 15 comparison you made. I play Minecraft, it is one of my favorite games and it plays WAY better than the Xbox ONE/PS4 version of NHL 15 BUT it looks a lot worse (unless if you have installed a resource pack).
I used to play NHL games all the time but NHL 15 has really got me bored and I don't play as much anymore it's so bad. GM Mode seems so bland and somewhat boring as well and the screen really lags. I just can't believe that I went to the midnight release for this game to be just disappointed. I won't be getting NHL 16 right away. I will come straight here to see how it really is. I won't fall for EA's scam again. Anyone else agree?
EA in general focuses on presentation. Madden just recently got a major upgrade to gameplay. EA is the monopoly of sports games. They have no competition and it hurts the product. They always focus on the presentation and trying to deliver the game day experience, from the sense of sitting on a couch. They stopped focusing on gameplay and enjoyable game modes. The entire reason to play the game, and be a part of the experience, instead of just watching it on TV.
I tend to agree with a lot of your opinions. I find myself especially agreeing with your response to flash. He pointed out flaws in an unprofessional manner. Especially the part about meeting with the developers. I saw a lot of moot points from the comments, and I think you handled them very well.
Regarding the last comment. Even though you added the part about the hold the line animation I have noticed that there has been a significant decrease in offsides. I wonder if the AI takes less speed into the neutral zone, but there is a significant lack of offsides in NHL15 as opposed to NHL14. I know offsides still happens in the game, it isn't your fault, and that's frustrating. That's hockey though. When offsides occurs in hockey it generally isn't the puck carriers fault. I don't think that EA should lessen the rate below what you would see in a normal hockey game also, it's part of hockey.

EA Sports, which is the developer (the people who actually make the game like Rammer) answers to EA, the publisher, who has the final say in everything about EA Sports. EVERYTHING. Number of employees, money flow, development time, game content. What it boils down to is that EA (the publisher) didn't give enough time or resources (money/employees) to EA Sports (the developer) in order to make a decent game and EA (the publisher) was just interested in making a quick buck, as evidenced by the inclusion of HUT and basically nothing else. If anything, boycott any EA-published title going forward until they produce a product worth buying. Also, good job Johnny on seeing through EA's PR bullshit to try and wow you and get you to write a good review. Don't let them get off easy by pulling some PR favors, but shipping a shitty game and expecting no bad rep.

Johnny... I agree with you on your review of the NHL 15 on next gen. I know the AI is bad and all that other shit... But I think and I believe many people agree that it takes out the fun in some of your videos ( especially HUT gameplay videos ) when you constantly complain about the AI... Could you maybe focus on commenting like the players you play with how they have done on the current season, or how your opponents play or your predictions on teams and those kind of things. But other than that love your content, keep up the good work!

i feel like i have to voice my opinion, i'd just like to start off by saying Johnny i love your videos & for those of you reading this i'm well aware my spelling isn't the best.
anyways up until i saw your quick review video i actually really thought that NHL15 was a good game, but i actually agree with everything you say, although i still play the game (on Next Gen). in my opinion HUT is a really enjoyable game mode, i love the whole concept of it, BUT i'm well aware that HUT is EA's way of making more money, its obvious in NHL 14 they would have a promo pack on long weekends, holidays, whatever. but on NHL15 its every other f*****g day. they were aware they were going to lose sales because NHL15 wasn't even a full finished game, you made a list of all of the gamemodes and extra things they left out (ex. GM Draft). EA CHOSE to put HUT in NHL15 over EASHL because HUT can make them waaaay more money then EASHL can. EA Sports can be considered one of the best / most known gaming company, they have been around way to long for you people to really think "they couldn't figure out EASHL" for NHL15. In my opinion i truly believe that EA is aware of the fact NHL15 is a unfinished game, look at the things they've added into the game with updates, little things like 3 stars of the game, to game modes such as OTP and Playoff mode.
All and all i really think NHL 15 (Next Gen) is a good building block for NHL games in the future, but they really showed there fans that if it comes down to it, they will do what it takes to get money.

I think a better comparison than Minecraft would be say, the NBA 2k or the FIFA series, they have great presentation AND great gameplay, as sports games, proving that you don't have to choose between one or the other
Now that NHL15 is what it is, wouldn't be a good time for a playthrough series like the Hitman and Batman series.

I want to take this opportunity to denounce how EA official NHL forums will delete and ban all similar complaints to this one despite them being truthful while allowing abusive community members (including the mods themselves) to bully, troll and harass anyone who has a negative opinion on the game regardless of how constructive the opinion is. I understand how frustated you are with offsides mistakes, but I think that if you watch hockey (I know you do) offsides happens sometimes. Maybe not stupid as in the video, but there are mistakes in real hockey game.Some hockey games before had no offsides intergrated in the game. (Not hating)

I agree on everything you've brought up in your quick review. I was superexcited for the newgen-version and i were going to buy the xbox one just because of my love for the NHL series. But luckily you and others were quick enough to point out what the newgen-version were missing. Game modes like EASHL and Live the life is either ruined or taken out from the game. Im gonna buy the 360-version for sure!
The presentation upgrade from NHL 14 to NHL 15 was a mandatory upgrade for the NHL series. If NHL 15 next gen looked the same as NHL 14 you'd all be complaining on how it looks the same. The presentation upgrade was going to take a full year of production anyways, might as well happen on the first next gen game. I'm fine with the game as it is and I'm sure NHL 16 will be great.

Johnny I bought a PS4 JUST for NHL 15 (with my own money) thinking about things they will add. It was a bad move I can't play games online because of the internet where I live. But thinking now I should have just bought the game on my 360 instead and save my lawn mowing money. Highly disappointed in EA but hoping for the best

I may not agree with everything you said, but overall you're right, ea completely dropped the ball, when next gen was released they said they weren't going to release NHL 14 on next gen because they wanted to make 15 the good one designed for next gen, mission failed, I really hope 2k comes back for NHL, NBA 2K is a very good game, and it has the potential to make ea start caring a little more about customer satisfaction.
