The first of August, I was out for a 3 day weekend riding trails like that on my plated ‘03 XR400R. Sadly, on my way back to camp, I narrowly missed a head on collision with a young lady in a Subaru. My evasive maneuver ended up in a High Sided Superman Move which busted my hip. My Kicking “big bore” bike days may be over. I’m still on crutches. One of those, one in a million odds situations...Enjoy while you can!
Man! Sorry to hear that... I think about it all the time. More these days. And I lament my loss of capabilities to do what I love so much. Hope you heal up soon. 2many
Thank you very much for mentioning that. Me, I have to figure that my videos are an acquired taste as they do not skyrocket through the roof with views. But that's ok, I perfer to have it like this. A hidden gem of a channel that isn't like what mainstream is doing. It's honest and creative. 2manyrides
600's are a very fun bike. Mine has been very reliable. Like still never been rebuilt! That's my 1992 I bought new and broke in myself. And it's still stock. One of my xr600r buddies has an xr650r. Leaves me in the dust if he wants to. Along with a shower of road debris hitting me in the face! But those 650r's are a departure from the symplicity of the old school 600.

I still have a few backups... I still have nice 2001 Yamaha 660 Raptor and and a very capable 1955 Willy’s CJ5...lol
I might have to build me a XR650L motor for my XR628R...
