Raebenshe - War Dance of Bengal

Raebenshe - War Dance of Bengal is a very unusual martial dance. This war dance is mainly performed with vigorous masculine movements done along with a long bamboo stick . The folk dance was explored as part of the summer Abhivridhishala at Chitra Visweswaran's Chidambaram Academy of Performing Arts and was taught by Anusuya Banerjee founder Nrittakshetra Academy of Performing Arts and performed by the participants of the Abhivridhishala.
