My org's MS Teams does not support IOS 17 and now it won't open and so it's recommended to downgrade to previous version. Now when I connect my phone to the MacBook, a message comes up stating "A software update is required to connect to 'iPhone name''. I installed but it came up again. Clicking installing again and after waiting, it stated "Installation failed - Can't install he software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server". Note that my MacBook shows it's up-to-date. How to get around this issue?

This is the first time I have encountered such a situation with beta software, definitely talk to apple about this issue. I have created a complaint and I recommend that you do too. Note: They said we can't do anything because it doesn't fall below 80% :)

There’s too many small changes in iOS 17 that make one-handed use impossible. The changes from iOS 16.6 to iOS 17 make using my phone extremely difficult as I have short thumbs. The 'crop' feature in Photos can't be reached, neither can the 'Done' option in the top right. This is highly problematic as I can't reach these when working one-handed. Next, the 'End call' option is directly above the 'Home' bar-when navigating between screens while on the phone, it's easy to hang up by accident. Next, when my phone is switched to silent, the alarm only vibrates, when it formerly would still sound the alarm tone. The 'Answer call' button is also too low to use one-handed as, again, short thumbs and a large phone. Bottom line, I want IOS 16.6 back.

I talked to Apple Support and they told me that I need to go back to 16 urgently, such things can happen, they said beta is not stable version after all. I think it's probably even more likely that it's not the battery that's deteriorated, but rather a software problem/misreading. Wonder if anything changed with downgrading?

I made sure APPLE SUPPORT is aware of the issue, from what I heard is that APPLE is going to remove all the new ringtones from IOS 17 and fix the bug with custom ringtones not showing up across the board. This is going to happen with the update IOS 17.1 I believe.....not really sure

You can change the iOS Version in the ,,Info.plist,, file in the Backup
That does not work any longer in my tests. It typically causes the restore to fail over and over.
