Thanks for your tutorials. Im new to Solidworks and wondering how do you go about moving/rotating the generated combined parts? For example at 4:23 you create that yellow part - how would you then rotate it 90 degrees? There dont seem to be any handles for moving/rotating on combined elements. Please help!
Hi brother, hope you are doing very well. You can go to features, use move/copy body command, here you can translate, rotate or even constraint your object with some other part or some other reference. It is a very handy feature. Thank you so much. Keep Solid working!
You can create such features using cavity command in SolidWorks assembly mode (see my last tutorial) however to perform Boolean operations in SolidWorks, you would need to work in the part modeling environment rather than assembly mode. Once you have created or imported the parts, you can use features like Combine, Intersect, or Cut with Surface to perform Boolean operations and modify the geometry accordingly.
That's strange, may be you didn't create a part that's why. Follow the steps, create multi body parts then use combine feature. I think by default it is disable😊
Thank you bro. 💚🥂🇩🇿🇩🇿
My pleasure, thank you!☺😊

OK many thanks!
Can this operation be done in assembly mode ?

Why this button (Combine) non-active in my SW ???
