Well done for getting back in the nick of time. I shouted hello to you as you were heading south out of Montgomery on the outbound leg… you were loitering!
Thanks Mr Saddlesore 👍 you're right I probably was. I was almost 2hrs slower than last year for various reasons, but still had a enjoyable little adventure. "You know what I'm talking about" Sorry I missed you in Poynton to say hello 👋. I'm Hoping to see a more professional 🎥 version (quicker) of events🙂
Thanks that brought back some fond memories, I did this in 2019, it was really cold below zero but luckily dry, I expected it to warm up after sunrise but the temperature barely crept above freezing. That hill towards the end was a real killer for me. On the plus side there were some very nice riders and that helped me along. Keep the videos coming, I’m enjoying them.
Cheers Neil 👍I'm glad you enjoy my little films. I rode it in 2019 too and remember my teeth chattering 🥶 while getting ready to leave McDonald's at Whitchurch .
@@Bijou-Bob ha ha, yes I remembered leaving Dinky’s just before dawn with a couple of pairs of gloves on wondering if I’d ever feel anything in my hands again. Im sure I spoke to you on that audax, I had a big grey beard, I’m sure our paths crossed a few times. That 300 was definitely an unforgettable experience. 😂

I didn’t film… I fancied a faff free ride.
