seven days in june was my favourite read last year ugh, if I could re-read one romance over & over for the first time again, it would be this book. it was so raw and captivating, i still think about it from time to time. so mad that poc romance especially does not get the hype that it deserves!!!
I wasnt expecting the Honorable Mentions portion to blow me away but you sold me on so many of them! Moreso than even your 5 star ones! "I like that he grovels" is REAL.
Thanks for reading all those romances from the Goodreads list. I don't really trust the site's ratings, so I appreciate you taking that on. I acquired some of these on your advice. I don't usually trust Booktube romance recs (my romance taste is pretty quirky), but I can see we agree on a number of books, so I will go for it. :D
It Happened One Summer is perfectionnn. I went in thinking I was going to hate this one because we start with a social media addicted blonde brat, but I fell in love with the characters. Brendan is my favorite book bf so far. Piper matured so much too.
Thank you for your recommendations! I picked up "In a Jam" because of you and I've just finished it. I absolutely loooooved it, it's so freaking good! I appreciate you for helping me discover this gem. Greetings from Spain
You deserve each other is definitely not for everyone. Personally, I think it’s one of the most romantic books out there. It felt incredibly realistic and Naomi was so relatable to me. I absolutely love Hogle’s writing, too. Twice Shy is another amazing book by her. Waiting for her Christmas book to arrive in the mail today 🤍
omg i dont even know why i'd picked it up on a whim, but it ended up rly surprising me and making me feel so many emotions. been a few years, and ive wanted to reread it bc i feel like i could appreciate it more now, but from what i remember it rly was so romantic in its own way, and like you said very real too. this is a great reminder to revisit it and also read more sarah hogle, i forget why i was on the fence about twice shy but i should finally give it a go
This is my first video from you and dare I say you explain books so beautifully. I've been strict with myself with not adding books to my tbr, but the way you described some of these books makes me want to add more.😅
I am loving all of these Chanmas videos!! You are my #1 book recommendation resource and I have found many of my all time favorite books through you! Have a great end of 2023 Chandler!!
I LOVED THESE BOOKS 😭😭 as someone who's surrounded by people who mostly reads fantasy books i love this video sm because i relate to it so much LIKE HELLOO TALIA HIBBERT AND ABBY JIMENEZ IM CLICKING THAT SUB BUTTON AND THAT LITTLE BELL RIGHT AWAY
I’ve read 7/12 books based on Chan’s recommendations and it’s interesting to see which books we align on 5 stars and which don’t😅 I’m finding that I like more of the literary romances with serious themes, but I’ll give any of Chan’s recommendations a shot! Lady for a Duke is and Part of Your World are some of my favorite books EVER🥹❤
I think you are right about Tessa Bailey. I hated It Happened One Summer and I really haven’t enjoyed any of Tessa Bailey’s books. Maybe I’m just not that into rom coms.
I read It Happened One Summer back when you first talked about it! It instantly became one of my favorites romances that I recommend to everyone! I always love your suggestions!
One of the things I loved the most about Love on the Brain was all the neuroscience. I have a neuroscience degree, so I thought it was fun to get little bits of it. It was interesting and science-y and made me feel smart, without having to read a nonfiction😂
I just read They Call Her Sofia by Doris Ladino and I loved it! It’s a romance book about healing and finding self love after being betrayed and manipulated. It’s sweet and spicy. The audiobook is very entertaining and easy to listen to. Overall , It’s a feel good book and fast read. Enjoy!
Seven Days in June is legitimately the first time (and only time) I’ve EVER cried when the main couple finally got together. Seriously. That is how good the story is.
It took me until the second dreamland billionaires book to fully realize that this was meant to be Disney, like literally Disney. If nothing else, I am oblivious 🥰✨ lmfao OMG I loved spoiler alert too!! It was so fanfic-y and I loved it.
You know what's really divisive? The way you pronounce divisive. 😅 Is this a Texas thing? (I'm a Tennessean, so I already know it's not a southern thing.)
@@chandlerainsley According to Google, that person was WRONG! 😅(I totally fact checked myself before leaving a comment. My first thought was, "Oh god, have I been saying that word incorrectly all my life?!")
Girl you are just killing Chanmas and I am so incredibly impressed with all of the hard work you’ve clearly been putting in for all of us 🖤

Love that you included the Kleypas! I would love to see you talk about more historical romances--they are the best!

Part of Your World is unmatched, number 1 for me

Why did it crack me up when you’re explaining terms and conditions and the grandpa is like “hey, I’m dead”😂🤦🏽♀️

Seven days in June just hit my Libby app today! So happy to finally read this one 😁
Every book on this list that I have read I have absolutely loved. Definitely adding all of the new ones to my goodreads list!
love your recs, I finished 2 books the past few weeks but for every 1 book i finished, about 3-4 new books were added to my tbr TuT
The amount of time & effort you had to go through to read all these books and make this video for us . . . respect.
I am loving all of these Chanmas videos!! You are my #1 book recommendation resource and I have found many of my all time favorite books through you! Have a great end of 2023 Chandler!!

Love Alexis Hall! So happy to see his work on this list!
One of the things I loved the most about Love on the Brain was all the neuroscience. I have a neuroscience degree, so I thought it was fun to get little bits of it. It was interesting and science-y and made me feel smart, without having to read a nonfiction😂
I really need to get around to reading more of these books
oh I am READY for this
i like how chan is so soft spoken when spilling scalding tea

I havent read love on the brain but makes me think of youve got mail!
The Soulmate Equation sounds like a dead ringer for “The One” by John Marrs (not a romance)
theyre executed pretty differently
It took me until the second dreamland billionaires book to fully realize that this was meant to be Disney, like literally Disney. If nothing else, I am oblivious 🥰✨ lmfao
OMG I loved spoiler alert too!! It was so fanfic-y and I loved it.
I still need to read the brown sister books 😤

i’ll be honest i hate romance but i love chanmas so im here for it
isn't there a Netflix show based on the soulmate equation premise??! is it based on this book??!
SO many videos 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
wait im confused 7 days in June's cover is a couples cover?!
7 days in june is the closest ive ever got to tears from romance.
Spoiler:
The kid's death really got to me.
I would love to love the terrible ones of the 100
"It's not just about f*ing" 😐
may i say u have TASTE
Hmmm, Chloe Brown was not my absolute favorite, but I am a grumpy bitch, so maybe I should read Dani Brown
Is it status-tician or sta-tician?! I thought it was the second 😅😅 am I crazy??
it’s spelled statistician so i pronounce the s
@@chandlerainsley I looked it up and you’re totally right!! I’ve been pronouncing it wrong for years 😂😂😂🫣
