Knocking someone out with concussive force, or by injuring their organs isn't merciful either. There is nothing wrong about doing damage to the legs to achieve a knockout in such a fight.

Unless your train in Muay Thai yourself, you will never understand the power of those legs kick. In sparring, people barely even put power into kicks and your legs can be all beaten up the day after. That guy will be feeling those kicks for weeks atleast.

When you leg kick people who barely know how to fight let alone how to be loose be on your feet will have their feet planted heavy so kicking a leg that stiff will easily cause more damage. Not disagreeing just another major factor to consider.

  • @seniknine

The thuds are what you want over the slaps. It's landing with the shin and turning your body into the kick that makes Thai kicks so different. Truly a powerful martial art that is earning so much recognition for the past few decades.
