Susan Lucci, Only an Erica Kane interview could end this way!

Susan Lucci is best known for appearing as Erica Kane on the ABC television soap opera All My Children, from January 16, 1970 to September 23, 2011.
Susan was nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy for her work on All My Children almost every year since 1978. After 18 failed nominations, she finally won in 1999.
She has been married since September 13, 1969 to Austrian businessman Helmut Huber. They are the parents of soap opera actress Liza Huber (born February 22, 1975) and Andreas Huber, an aspiring professional golfer. She became a grandmother when her daughter, Liza, gave birth on December 23, 2006 - Lucci's 60th birthday. The baby was named Royce Alexander. Liza gave birth to Lucci's second grandchild, Brendan, on August 16, 2008; her third grandchild, Hayden Victoria on March 23, 2011; and her fourth grandchild, Mason Alexander on February 6, 2013.
Lucci's autobiography All My Life: A Memoir was published in 2011. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out!

I worked on the office staff of "All My Children," as my second job after graduation from college, when it was being produced at 101 West 67 Street in Manhattan. Susan Lucci is super-nice! The first day I met her, she was wearing a kerchief and sunglasses with rose-tinted octagonal lenses. As she shook my hand, she said, "Hi! I'm Susan Lucci!" I said, "I know. I've seen the show before." And we both laughed!

Thanks for sharing your story! I remember walking down the street by Lincoln Center on night and seeing the set flats being loaded onto the stage. I believe this was before it moved in the late 80s.

When I was in my twenties people used to tell me that I looked like Susan Lucci. While I was petite and had the same coloring, her face was much more gorgeous than mine lol. Sure was flattering though🤩
