UG2 is still the impostor version, real UG2 was the BREW version and it was amazing but it's lost to time, you should show gameplay of it tho on stream someday

Also ex developer from the studio that made it shown version of it that looked more finished, he didnt share it aside of showing it in a video tho. There are reviews from gamespot for Brew UG2. Main reason why there is no file is because it was streaming from verizon's network to get files that were needed, because phones had rather pitiful storage at the time. A shame because if it was fully released it would be really neat :/

Again for "Underground 2", the original game is Fast and Furious: Fugitive.
Finally someone who knows. Ea wouldn't even be bothered to contract some java game studio to make a new game, until carbon. Not sure how legit the MW is, iirc it was made by some chineese studio, could be a bootleg game. But carbon is the first official game on j2me.

@@B4RC0D3_YT and you know? All things considered they did a fine job. Ea should have contacted them to make a game, they had a pretty good 3d engine. Or some company that works with sony, their devices support both m3g and mascot capsule renderers, and the capsule ones looks sweet, but there are no emulators for it. Not anymore, well, unless you look in the archives.
Fast & Furious Fugitive was made by Firemints, the same company also made NFS Most Wanted J2ME (which was official by the way, I found archived websites from both EA and the company website advertising this version of the game). While EA didn't consider J2ME till MW, they instead considered BREW for UG2/MW which was more impressive than their later mobile ports.
Also EA bought Firemints and merge it Ironmonkeys to make Firemonkeys who would later make NFS No Limits.
@@leqzman2326 Firemint also created FF Pink Slip 3D. The mod of underground rivals. Most Wanted was meant to have many more features.

Most Wanted Java is much better than DS version.
That NFS Underground its a fake version, the original game is Fast and Furious Fugitive, someone modified the original to transform in the Underground.

Bro, listen, i'm gonna break your mind, but this is not an official game. It's a mod for a mobile game and the original is called Fast and Furious: Fugitive. The music in that game cannot be replaced or modified, it's the original.

I remember this game 😮. I used to play this (NFS Most Wanted! Not that Fugitive mod!) on my cousin's Nokia N73 😄. It was the only NFS I knew back then apart from Underground 2 and a lot of Asphalt 😂.
