I agree with you about paperback vs hardcover! Paperback is the best in my opinion. Right now I’m on a book buying ban for at least 2 years (yes, 2 years! Books are so expensive when you read a lot of them 😓) so I check them out from my library on my Kindle. Using an eReader is the most comfortable option for sure... but you lose the specialness of reading a physical book!

Keep going with The Gilded Ones. The series is called Deathless. This is part 1. I don't know how many there will be. I have Sweet & Bitter Magic but have only read a little bit of it. And it's pretty compelling to start. Meaning the story flows well. That's about all I can say though. I stopped to read other books from my library that were on hold for a bit and needed to get them read before my time is up with them. LOL!!
We are not free is such an amazing book! There are so many perspectives and there are also pictures and articles and visual elements throughout, so it might be good to read physically!

Am I the only one who doesn’t like paperback 😩 I love hardcovers so much they’re beautiful and more comfortable for me to read as the letters are bigger and you don’t end up bending the pages like on a paperback

I would 100% recommend the audiobook for we are not free! it has a full cast and the range of voices adds so much to the reading experience.

I recently read Sweet & Bitter Magic and loved it :) It is indeed sapphic. I gave it 4.5 stars! It's a brilliant standalone fantasy.
