Who knew a whole video on background images would be so informative. Great vid. I use Divi a lot but learn really useful tips from you all the time. Thank you.
Breaking the Laws of Physics... Is a perfect phrase to communicate the tradeoffs in responsiveness to designers and customers. Thank you for that phrase
Thanks Nelson this is great. Would it also be a good idea to have 3 different image sizes for each device, so you are not loading the huge desktop background image on mobile?
...would also you consider creating a video on preparing images to be used for the web - especially how pixels relate to actual displayed size, best sizes and formats for uploading, prepping images for your website before creating? Thx :)
You're welcome! Thanks for your suggestion as well, I cover a lot of that in my other tutorial here: www.peeayecreative.com/how-to-optimize-images-for-seo-in-divi-full-step-by-step-guide/
I figured out a way that isn't a workaround... that gives the exact result I want.. on mobile adjust "height" on the row settings, and watch the magic take place : )

I wish everyone made tutorials as clear as yours, Thanks Nelson.
I'm so glad you like mine!

Haha you're welcome! 😊

Glad you like them, you're welcome!
Clear, understandable, convenient as usual :)
Thanks Nelson!
Awesome, glad you like it!👍
Perfect. Exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.

It doesn't load it, Divi and WordPress create different sizes automatically for you, so no worries here.
@@PeeAyeCreative Are you sure about that? Acording to Elegant Themes this is only true for normal images, but not for background images
Thanks! Truly Useful Topic...
You're welcome, I'm so glad it's useful!
Awesome always 🙏🏽 Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for the video! By the way I am from Colombia and I teach Spanish lessons in exchange of knowledge of Divi, html and css
You're welcome, very nice!
Hi, Could you please make a tutorial on how to centre Tabs settings "button" with divi on mobile devices . We are struggling
Thanks Nelson!!
You're always welcome!

Also you can do another background image with @media
Yes for sure 😊
Just saw the video. I don't even have that option to add in varying images or options for mobile/tablet.
That's extremely weird then, please contact Elegant Themes.

Glad you found something that works for you.
disappointing that divi has no responsive option for cover vs fit.
For a background image? I don't think fit would ever be used...
There IS a problem with DiVi
What? This is spam unless you add some context.
