Good morning, I just love your videos and discovered you on youtube recently. . It’s been a joy watching some of your older ones. I have always loved antiques and now with both my husband and myself retired and empty nesters, it’s great fun hunting for that special item. Happy Sunday!

Happy Sunday! I'm so glad you're enjoying my vlogs! Antiquing is a great way to spend some free time, isn't it?

Love you mix up your videos, don’t ever change them. Wilson is funny, he’s always the quiet guy in the background but not that day!
That bangle brace looks fab on you. Iris & Indy are so purr-ty! 🤍🧡

Thanks so much! Wilson puts up with a lot from the 3 other critters in the house - he's very patient - especially when Iris decides that they're going to cuddle (which he doesn't love). 😂😂

I love the history of the Church. I am glad that your brother is able to maintain the building by repurpose it into another usage. BTW, your bangle matches the color of your earrings in the past video.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The church is so pretty - definitely a little jewel in the town. I'm going to have to wear the earrings and the bangle together one day - I didn't even think of it!

The Owens piece from Ohio probably is connected to Owens-Corning whose headquarters are in Toledo, Ohio. I believe the Corning glass part came from the east coast before the merger. Love the kitties. Poe says "hi". Love your channel!!

I'm so glad you love the channel - thanks for watching! You may be right about the Owens pieces - they were so pretty! I read that the company focused on making tiles after their pottery period, but I didn't continue reading for more up to date information. I should really do that. Tell Poe I said hello!

Last summer my husband and I were vacationing in VT when we found Dirt Church nearby. We loved the property and of course the beer! We will definitely put the new tap room on our day trip list.

    Hi Kris,
Tuning in a little later this morning, but here enjoying those green beans (yes, for breakfast, lol), anyway, just wanted to comment quick since I have to leave soon for church, and will probably be viewing this video in small time frames today. But that first shot of that blue lamp caught my attention right away. It was so pretty! I loved the bowls and flowers tea cup and saucer too. Oh and the Bobsey Twins books brings back memories. I read them as a kid. Have a great day !

Hi Chris, I am new to your channel, I found you while watching anything to do with the Brimfield flea market on TH-cam.
In 2015, my life changed, and I am now in a wheelchair and many days, I am bedbound.
Life before was filled with goodwill stops, Brimfield, and all kinds of antique shows.
I wanted to thank you for letting me tag along and enjoy your lovely finds.
Marlborough Farms was always a great place to shop, I did not know it had switched to what it is now. I now live in Monson, MA, but I had also lived in Colchester CT as well as a couple of years in the Hudson Valley, so many places you go are at least familiar to me.
I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos! ❤

I'm so glad you found me - welcome to the channel! It sounds like your life changed profoundly. I realize it's not the same, but I'm glad you can get some of your thrifting and antique fixes by watching channels like mine. I always try to capture a sense of the place I'm visiting so people who won't/can't shop there feel like they came along with me. If there's ever anything I can do to make that experience better, please let me know. I appreciate feedback and always want to learn more!

The tulips are called Real Touch and there are LOTS of flowers out there that are like that.
Also...I ran, lol, to your Ebay to look for that tray...but I'm glad it got a good home. Even if it's not in Texas!

Any suggestions on where to find Italian pottery?

    • @WorthingtonHome
      @WorthingtonHome  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I must confess that Italian pottery is not my specialty, although I come across it from time to time. If I learn about any good places, I'll definitely let you know! (Laura Caldwell has a great channel on youtube and speaks quite a bit about Italian pottery - you might want to check her out. She's a lot of fun to watch).

The first three stores we went to were in Greenfield, MA. (Cute town!) Then we went to Shelburne MA to Duck Pond Antiques. We hit a few more stores, but I didn't feature them on the vlog because I was running dangerously low on battery power. I hope this info helps!

I recently learned about that from another video! It's so interesting to me how many different kinds of pieces there are for specific functions. (And don't even get started with all of the different utensils for a formal place setting!) Thank you for leaving me a comment - I always appreciate helpful info.
