I love the Talbot tweed jacket and how you have cropped it. I think you should hem the frays because I noticed that it folds up a bit. Also, when you mock hemmed it the length looks perfect as it sits above your jeans and the belt is more visible. Love the entire look with the jeans.
LOVED the pants. I definitely diy my pants on the sides, as well. Also, you did an amazing job with the jacket. Deconstruction is the way to go. Great job. I like your style😊
Lol thank you! I mean, both work, I think distressed will keep more casual and relaxed and hemming would take it back to looking more work wear formal, but finished, but pairing it with jeans would eliminate that... which is why we're on the fence 😂
OMG IM OBSESSED WITH THAT CHANEL CROP DUPE, ❤Definitely leave the raw hem I have those jeans, now if I can just find that color jacket 🤦🏾♀️the search continues, you nailed those DIY✅
I have thrifted oversize garments intentional that I will alter them. Just haven’t done them yet. Those dark brown cords got me thirsty and look great how you pinned them. The Chanel five blazer looks really great. How are you chopped it and I agree you should leave the hem unfinished so it would be like a Fringe hen which I have Thrifted several woven tweed of these types that had the fringing on the edging. And the bottom skirting part left over it’s gonna be great to layer over a pair of slacks, denim, jeans, or a long midi/maxi skirt or to mix it up wear over long dresses or shirts at waist or across chest.
I love your DIY.. as much as I love the distressed look, why not take it up a notch and add a very thin ribbing in the dark red color as the front panel? I think it would finish it off beautifully.. also the chocolate pants are fabulous! Very smart the way you did it right on the side seam.. you did a beautiful job ❤😊

Wat een goed idee om het jasje korter te maken.
Goed gelukt

Cropping it definitely made the jacket better. I’m on the fence for hemming or not. I like both!

I like the idea of the deconstructed look.

Right! Lol thank you, also yes it does give it a fringe effect! 😁
Deconstructing will make it look more original, thank you for sharing your video
Great job! Team deconstructed. Xoxo 💕
Such a cute jacket! I vote raw hem💕
The distressed will look cool because of the fabric
